“This place is literally in the middle of nowhere, on State Highway 8, between the larger areas of Roxburgh and Lawrence. It is the only place there, with nothing else around it. With the lack of light pollution, it's ideal for stargazers. The view surrounding the place is stunning, too - it would be a great place to camp during the Summer.
The outside cabins are a good design with adequate heating and ventilation. Note, no bedding (i.e. blankets) or towel is provided. The cabins are about 30m outside the back of the hotel building. In between is a building containing separate male and female toilets and showering facilities, kitchen, and laundry. There's plenty of parking right outside the cabins.
The bed and pillows were comfortable. A TV is provided with various channels available. Heating is good meaning you would have no problem in the middle of Winter (well, at least until you had to step outside to go to the bathroom!).
