“A small but very well-maintained and clean apartment. The apartment is built in a renovated fisherman's house. It is located on an estate in the city center, where fishermen's cottages once stood. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Definitely let her explain the history of the town to you. The beach is 300 meters away. There is also access to the garden, where the pool is located.”
“The owner of the house was extremely welcoming and heartfelt. The house itself was beautiful and very lovely, great view of the castle and the land, but also we were lucky to learn that there was a wonderful family history behind it. He explained to me about the region well so it made it very easy to get around. The house was immaculate and arranged very thoughtfully. We cooked at the kitchen one night and it felt at home. Because they had equipped some oil and salt and pepper, we didn't have to buy in inconvenient sizes and it was very easy to cook a simple meal. Stay in Ovidos was an unforgettable experience and one of the best parts of our trip to Portugal. Thank you very much!”

“The property was absolutely lovely. Small and quaint with lots of really interesting history. The building’s history has been maintained whilst modern aspects have been added for comfort. The gardens are so peaceful and relaxing. It is set in a quiet area with easy access to Coimbra only 5 minutes by car.
The staff are all very friendly and Luis and Edgar were so welcoming and provided lots of extra information for our stay. Breakfast is delicious with lots of options for most preferences.
The home made cake left in the kitchen for the guests was a lovely gesture and very tasty.”
