“We spent three wonderful nights staying at Stefano and Christina’s idilic country hotel. Bode is within very close proximity to the historical town of Monsanto. We were able to easily explore the area and always felt happy to return to the spacious and impeccable accommodations at Bode. We stayed in a room upstairs, with stunning views across the area - perfect for watching the sunset. The bed was very comfortable and all linens and towels were top quality. The bathroom was beautifully designed with a great deal of space, a shower and bath. The entire establishment is simply and very stylishly designed, while placing comfort first. We enjoyed the infinity pool on hot days and loved the history of the hotel which was a converted farm, with rooms that use to house an olive press, grain mill and wine cellar. Stefano and Christina were kind and knowledgeable hosts and made us feel very welcome and cared for. Bode is the accommodation of choice in Monsanto. We will definitely be back!”

“The hotel has a good location, it is very clean, and its staff is very accommodating. The rooms are well equipped. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are nice, especially for the kids. Good value for money.”

Great location for visiting the university and library. Super easy to walk down to the shops. Quiet family suite with own bathroom was great for four people.”
“The hotel is located in a very quiet area, right on the beach - practically across the street was the beach, public, sandy, guarded.
The complex is ideal for families with children, as there is an auapark next to the property.
Breakfast typical as in the hotel, practically every day the same: scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, cereals. Scrambled eggs cold, because the meals were not served on heaters.
Service very friendly, although not all were communicative in English.
The advantage was the free safe in the room.
The room service cleaned the room very thoroughly, the bed linen was changed daily, fresh and fragrant.”
