“Highly recommended if you are looking for a charming host that welcomes you into their home, a property with special character and lots of opportunity to meet and talk to people. The hosts were just so lovely, warm and inviting, we had plenty of good conversations and exchanged opinions about our shared interests. So much charm in this little property (the husband is a coin collector and regaled us with stories about his coins, we exchanged some coins/notes, he showed us his very impressive coin collection and even gave us a little sample gift of various coins! We were really very touched by this and generally thoroughly entertained during our breakfasts!). The breakfast was always a great opportunity to chat to the other guests and we socialised really well with the various changing guests that were staying there during our stay. The breakfast spread was great (included, among others: several types of great cheese, an amazing omelette with local eggs, home-made jams, delicious honey, a creative fruit spread, bread from the local artisans, quirky tableware etc. - really all you can hope for if you're looking for locally sourced products).”
