  • Manoir des Basses Rivières Review score: 10

“The BnB rooms are thoughtfully furnished, with antiques and elements that truly respect the history of the house. The garden is extremely beautiful, well maintained and helps creating a little piece of secluded heaven. The owners are very welcoming and ready to help.”

  • “Lovely quiet rural location not too far from Tours. Comfortable, clean with a lovely homemade breakfast in a very friendly family setting. Hosts were discrete and helpful.”

  • L'Oustal Review score: 9

“Beautiful traditional French maison converted but keeping a whole lot of style. Rooms were named after famous French people (ours was an author with one of her books in the room). There was private parking on site which is rare and very welcome. The house includes a salon where you have access to 24hour tea and coffee, so you’re not always sat in your room. The rooms were large with newly renovated bathrooms. We had a small balcony overlooking the garden with its quirky modern statues. Breakfast was taken altogether with lots of homemade contents - jams, breads, yoghurts etc.”
