“Amazing setting of the chateau, very calm and so green. Perfect to relax, have a walk in the surroundings... Stare at the lake, we loved the location, the rooms and the breakfast was delicious!!! Had a great variety of home made fresh products with excellent bread. We had an interesting chat with the owners about the story of the castle and other things .. They were very warm and welcoming !

“The host Nicholas went way beyond expectations...he gave us the feeling that this was our home for the four days we were there ( often in B&Bs you get the feeling you are intruding a bit on the owner ) His breakfast was exceptional served in a classy style. The common rooms were beautifully decorated with art, comfy sofas, and outstanding view. We appreciated the abundant info on the history of Blois and the region given by Nicholas. He went out of his way to make to make us feel so welcome.”
“The best thing was Valerie the hostess, who was not only charming but went above & beyond to assist us with places to eat, places to visit etc. also important was the venue itself with its furnishings . But not only that, its central location made it easy to do a walking tour. Last but not least was the great breakfast. We very much enjoyed staying there & meeting Valerie. Bill & Pauline Frilay”

“Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host who booked the only available nearby restaurant for us when we turned up without a plan for dinner. Excellent breakfast and large comfortable room and adjoining bathroom. Splendid view of the night sky from the terrace outside. Picturesque rural water mill location, very peaceful, but only a few minutes' drive from the village of Chaillac.”
