“Mr. Amadeus knows what hospitality means, he is extremely flexible and helpful. The location is perfect, quiet, beautiful, with probably the best view to the city. It is easily accessible through a narrow street or stairs and alleys from downtown.
The impeccably clean guest house has three bedrooms. As the doors are not very sound resistant, it is best if the house is rented out by people who know each other or have similar wake-up and bedtimes. This was the situation in our case, so we didn't bother each other, but could be a problem for people with very different schedules. There is also a common living room and a very well-equipped kitchen, a patio, and a pleasant garden.
If I return to Esztergom I would love to stay here again and will also recommend it to friends.”
“Lovely property, very beautifully restored with lots of attention to detail. We love the very nicely presented breakfast on the terrace with local produce and enjoyed sitting in the evening with a glass of local wine. The owners were very friendly.”

Owner /family were very friendly and accommodating. I requested a spider-sweep prior to our arrival (Balaton tends to have some garden ones sometimes) which they were very nice about. They got us taxi numbers etc as well. Basically super nice and helpful people.
This was a relaxing kind of holiday ; guests are required to keep loud music to a not so loud level etc. this was perfect for us.
We didn’t realise we booked a breakfast included stay so this was a welcome news on our arrival. Nothing prepared us for the feast waiting for us in the morning. Both sweet and savoury options; absolutely delicious.
Honestly couldn’t recommend it more.
Side note : lots of places are in walking distance. We had options to borrow bikes as well. We opted to walk to Sajkodi strand : most beautiful beach at lake Balaton I’ve ever seen.

“Katzer Villa is such a paradise. The place is so relaxing and calm and very well look after and very destaco is well thought trough. It’s located in quiet area, walking distance to lake and few wineries. The host (Andrea) is very friendly and helpful and her home made cordial is one of the best. I booked the place for few nights but after first night there I decided to extend my stay. I enjoyed every minute there and would definitely love to return.”
