“Size of room very good. Well furnished with dining table, chairs, sofas and a wondeful balcony overlooking the lake.”
“The owner/Manager of the hotel went above and beyond in the restaurant for our evening meal accommodating our preferences and allergies. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and had very comfortable beds. They were very homely and clean. You need to notify the Hotelier in advance of your arrival if you wish to have breakfast provided at the hotel but we were unaware of this. It was not a problem as there is a wonderful bakery down the road where they also provide seating and a menu to eat onsite. We had a hire car so the fact that the hotel was a little off the beaten track in a village was not a problem for us - we enjoyed the peace and quiet and seeing the real Switzerland! Would definitely recommend and would be more than happy to visit Gasthof Lowen again!”
