“The apartment was very spacious, more spacious than we really needed but this would have been a nice bonus if we were staying there for any length of time (or even if we had got into the apartment straight away when we arrived).”
“the studio was clean, staff was kind and at our disposal. location is amazing, 3 min from metro, close to city center. there is a fridge and espresso machine but no kitchen, although that didnt bother us because we were there for a short time and its such a good deal.”
“The worst experience ever. Located in a real ghetto, very dirty and dangerous part of the city. Our car was crashed buy locals from that hood, but the house owner told us that is ok to park there, they stole few things from us and in the end the police didn't arrive after the request. Some of that freaks had guns. No safe parkings in the area, all of them have got terrible reports about robberies. Apparently local freaks lives just around. noisy, and super scary at the night and evening, the trash been was totally full inside the kitchen.”
“The flat was absolutely fine and had everything we needed, but it was not "fabulous", as advertised. Basic IKEA equipment - nothing wrong with that, no complaints, but it can't be said to be "fabulous".
We had a nightmare getting into our flat. Entered the building when someone went out. Were then stuck there for almost an hour, a text message telling us we hadn't completed payment. It turned out to be a mix-up with the bank that we couldn't rectify at that point/time. No-one responded to the 24/7 telephone number advertised in the lobby. (We had tried it previously, as we were booking, and had had no response then. We later discovered we should have used WhatsApp, but that wasn't mentioned on the notice.) Pure chance brought a staff member into the building as we were beginning to realise we'd have to go and book in at an hotel somewhere. The neighbourhood is not the best, we probably wouldn't have risked one in that area. The young lady who did arrive heard the "incomplete payment" story and let us into the flat. She was helpful and pleasant. (There'd been some forewarning of this problem at St Pancras, via bank text messages querying a fraud on our account, but after a phone conversation with the bank, we thought we'd sorted it out and that the bank was going to sort it out with Sweet Inns.) We arranged that the young lady would visit us to complete the payment the next morning, at 10 am. This time came and went, and by then, with the WhatsApp information with regard to the phone number, we were able to speak to someone. We were told all had been sorted out. The person we spoke to didn't know about the 10am arrangement. So, in the end, there was no morning meeting, but all was well.”
“The stay was very good. the room is right in the heart of the city close to everything. You can do a lot of things in the city walking. Another good thing is that it is close to the train station and has easy access to the airport.”
“Great location and very central, close to gay bars in the area, which is what I wanted. Owner allowed me to store luggage in the machine room until I needed to depart for the train station so that was appreciated.”
