“The feeling of coming home. It was our first three nights back in Bali and we immediately felt safe and sound. Papa Nick opened the door and Nick introduced us to the our room. The property is new, very clean and quiet. And on top of this: it had a great kitchen and two supercute cats.
Nick was very forthcoming and the best host we had on Bali!”
“This hotel is a great choice if you wish to stay close to the airport. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is in a quit area, but still close enough to the beach and nice restaurants/hotspots. Definitly can recommend this if you are looking for a budget friendly and comfortable hotel.”
“The staff‘s behaviour (the skinny one with long hair and a short young guy) was completely inadequate. They stole my husband‘s Hurley bathing short and only gave it back after my husband saw him wearing it and confronted him with photos of himself wearing it in the past. The staff claimed they found it in the room when cleaning after we had switched rooms. It would have been an easy thing to return them to us or at least to ask if they belonged to us.
Without words, it is simply theft but we did not want to create problems for the friendly owners who had nothing to do with it.
Additionally, ever since that day, also our airpods are gone… keep an eye on your staff!”
“We had a super comfortable stay at Alaya Homes. We loved the modern yet cozy design of the place, with nice furniture and a huge bed. The apartment was extremely clean, with daily cleaning. The location is in a quiet side street and since there are only 4 apartments, it all feels very private. Unit C is on the top floor, so that adds to the privacy. Wifi was very good, we had videocalls here without any issues.”
“We loved the pool, the property has a sanctuary feeling to it. The rooms were comfortable, clean and with a good amount of space. The small terrace was also lovely to sit on in the evening. Access to a kitchen was also great, being able to keep things in the fridge helped. Scooter rental was very helpful and convenient, only 80k which was a good price compared to other places, and the area is really set up to need one, not much footpath for walkers and lots of hills!”
“We booked for the day as we had a late flight and it’s really close to the international airport, the owner was really friendly and gave us a top floor room so it was quiet as my husband was sick. The room was simple and everything you need, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and the balcony was really lovely to sit on. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting. 5-10 min walk to the malls and places to eat, about the same to Jerman beach, which was quite nice.”
“Clean and cosy, really lovely accommodation and great location. Quiet but close to everything, including a fantastic place to eat called Munchies. Lovely owner. Highly recommend”
