  • Isla Retreat Review score: 10

“The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. If you have any questions or need anything, you can always reach out to the wonderful team and everybody will be warm and welcoming. Thank you so much, Ismail and Akoo and the whole team for this amazing holiday - it is really appreciated!”

  • Violet Inn Hotel Review score: 9

“Fantastic location, clean, well equipped. And the best support from hosts before and during my stay! A host, William arranged the boat from Male and all optional tour, let all guests know Manta Alart and Whale Shark appearing the day and night. I appreciate everything his doing. And I recommend you to have a dinner at this hotel, too. a chef makes good dishes.”

  • Kiha Beach Review score: 9

“Amazing staff and beautiful hotel. Breakfast selection changed daily and offered a lot of options. The beach was clean and sufficient beds available. Room was spacious and the view spectacular.”

  • “Everything was amazing starting from the hotel ending with the staff. Especially Janith, he was there for us every single step of the way. He went out of his way to care for us. This is probably the best resort in Fulhadhoo. My wife was pregnant and they went above and beyond to make she had what she needed. At one point I even felt overpampered lol. We had a romantic dinner on the beach and the whole staff came to make that a special event for us. We did the dolphin thing with them too. Saw the dolphins. Everything was impeccably arranged.”

  • “Amazing sea - skates, dolphins next to the hotel beach. Great fishing experience. Snorkelling is great, no need to pay for it, the reef next to the hotel is great & you can take the equipment for free in the hotel. The rooms are modern and clean. Nice teen room. Insane sunset views from the pool restaurant. The restaurants are decent, different menus and cuisines (we had b&b so tried them all). Breakfast is great as well. Staff is friendly, special thanks for Noaman (was helping me with physeotherapy).”
