“One of the most beautiful hostels I've ever stayed in my life. The hostel is in a very safe area in the historical center of the city. Only 15 minutes walk from tourist attractions. There is also a market and an ATM nearby. With huge trees in its garden and a beautiful pool, it has an atmosphere that makes you forget that you are in the heart of the city. Considering that Paraguay is a very hot country, this pool and the shade of the trees can sometimes be lifesaving. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You feel like they are with you at every moment, and they also give great tips about the city and transportation to other cities. In addition, there are social areas where you can socialize with other travelers, a tennis table, a small living room with a television and a library, a clean and sufficient number of bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. Also, the employees are very meticulous about cleanliness. Thank you El Nomada family for making me feel at home!”

“This is a great find. A historic old colonial house built out to comfortably accommodate hostel travelers. It was a famous bar in downtown Asuncion in the past. Cozy large beds, fully enclosed for maximum privacy in a shared space and pleasant communal areas to hang out in. Convenient location to the old town cultural sites and parks”

“Lovely historic hotel that has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean and tidy. Well located in the heart of the city, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. When there was a problem with the AC, they immediately moved me to another room. While the usual big city precautions apply, this is a safe city to walk around both day and night. I was here on my own for five nights and never had any issues.”

I arrived after 11 p.m. and hungry, and i was still able to eat at the restaurant. They also let me stay for an hour after check out. That was pretty awesome.
Well worth the money spent
