“What an amazing place! Probably the best room/Inn we stayed in on our recent holiday. Exceptional quality of fixtures and fittings in the bedroom, a wonderful bathroom with a huge, glazed shower cubicle, carefully (and artistically) thought out features throughout. A gorgeous terrace to watch the sun set from & a small rooftop pool...the rooms are all individual and surround a lovely little courtyard, shaded by trees and featuring water features. The site also shares space with a superb, award-winning Italian Restaurant (it isn't cheap but it is really good!). The Inn has an amazing host (we met Jim on arrival and departure, and he was just brilliant both times, although I think his dog is actually the Power Behind the Throne). It's five minutes walk to the Art District of Old Scottsdale, 15 minutes if you want to visit the other local sights and museums. If you're staying in Scottsdale, see if Jim (or the dog) can secure you a room, I promise you won't regret it!”
“David is very friendly, his home is charming and we spent a lovely time with him. Thank you for sharing your passion with us. He made great pancakes and his dog is also very lovely. Also, eerything was very clean. I would recommend 100% !!”
“Very friendly service, clean, quiet and close to the Grand Canyon - about an hour away. Gas station across the street. The hotel also offers medicines.”
“Only having six units in the whole place it made it so private and quiet and each room is decorated beautifully with a fireplace a hot tub or a soaking tub. They provide you with fresh bread baking in your room upon arrival and they serve you the most beautiful breakfast that you can’t even hardly eat at all and that comes with the price which was so reasonable. I will definitely plan my next trip around the availability at the thunder Mountain Inn. ”
“Staff were friendly and attentive.
Great big bed, comfortable pillows. Lovely hot shower. Breakfast had a bit of everything, and you just can't beat the value of the place. Really good location, too. They also did happy hour!”
