“For us both, the location was PERFECT: it is up and at the end of a single track lane and it is so quiet. Absolute heaven! It is surrounded by nature and the property is very large. We were welcomed with a lovely aperitif and local homemade produce in a little cave, and we really appreciated the gesture! Greg and Alienor welcomed us so nicely: they are very laid back and approachable. Nothing is too much for them. We felt at home. Night time was great: so peaceful. We had a large room with a very comfortable bed, and bathroom and toilet outside (we were the only guests). You can tell Greg and Alienor are keen to please their guests and like to know them, but equally, if you want to go upstairs to your room and no talk, they understand that too. They are a very nice couple and we also like their sense of humour! Oh, and their dogs are wonderful! Breakfast was exactly as we like it, with nice croissants and fresh crispy bread Greg had bought first thing in the morning (bearing in mind he works nights, that's very good!), homemade jams, cereals, hot drinks, fruit, etc... The morning we were due to leave, some trees had fallen across the little single lane, blocking the way with electric cables: Greg and Alienor went out of their way to sort it out: called everybody to come and deal with it. In the meantime, Greg took us 'truffle hunting' with the dogs: this was new to us and it was really interesting. The trees were still down and Greg and Alienor took the matter between their hands, cut them, push them out of the way so we could drive off and carry on to the Auvergne. Thank you Guys!”

  • “Absolutely fantastic stay, upgraded our room prior to the visit. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the location is perfect. We also loved the added extra of the cheeky little rabbit who wanders around the pool area.”
