  “Close to the center of town within walking distance of Gomla and Carrefour supermarkets, Al Mazareta is basically an apartment where you can rent a room with shared basic facilities such as bathroom, toilet and kitchen. WiFi worked well also in the rooms. The apartment is on the third floor of a building on a side street. It means noise levels are moderate compared to other similar accommodation in Alexandria. The rooms at the rear are more quiet than rooms at the front. The latter have balconies though. The self check-in procedure turned out to work well. The front door of the building is almost always open. Make sure you can access internet or if offline ensure you have downloaded the check-in instructions. The apartment is cleaned every day. The manager can be reached through whatsapp until 10PM. The link works, as in case of need he usually reacts within a reasonable time period.”

  “My wife and I travel a lot. This is not our first time in Egypt and we have been to different places. This place in Alexandria is wonderful in every way. Convenient location close to the embankment and historical places. If you want to make purchases, modern markets are available. Lots of cafes and food outlets. But the most important thing is the wonderful welcome from the owner of the apartment! He was very attentive and caring, always in touch and ready to help us at any moment. The service and friendliness is excellent! Everything in the description of these apartments is of high quality. The kitchen is fully functional and you can prepare meals. There is a large refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. The bedroom is cozy and clean, they provide a change of linen, excellent towels and bathroom amenities. The entrance to the apartment is guarded and access to the floor is easy by elevator. Wi-Fi worked well, which is a big plus. From the very beginning until we left we felt great and will definitely return to this place and this welcoming home! We thank Ahmed for all the good things he has done for us!”
