We stayed in the hotel for two days and cannot recommend this place highly enough! Both proprietors obviously love what they do and remain absolutely guest-focused. Service and attention to detail is their game. Nothing was a problem for them when we presented them with out-of-the-ordinary requests which they handled with understanding and kindness.
We did not eat dinners at the restaurant as, unfortunately their cuisine is seafood oriented and my wife is allergic to seafood, leaving alternative choices a bit sparse, but their breakfasts are something else and they take delight in their offering each morning.
Please do yourself a favour and book in at the Makarun Hotel, Split when you are next planning to be there, you will not regret if!”
“This hotel has an excellent location, very close to all the attractions, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The room is spacious and impeccably clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. The host is very helpful and responds quickly and promptly, which greatly facilitated our trip. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!”

“The property has great location. A lot of beautiful beaches are around. And because it’s not a city center, beaches aren’t overcrowded.
We stayed with a dog. And there’s a dog beach near Villa AMore. The apartment was really clean, spacious and had a lot of lights.
And the huge advantage is friendly staff. Ante and Marija are the best hosts I’ve ever met.”
