Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LebanonOver all my stay was good. However certain things were not welcomed. First and most upsetting was the deposit of 300 QR in case of destruction of the room. I was shocked for this. When I handed my Gold card for a deposit to block. The receptionist mentioned she would take it out and at my end of the stay would give me it back in cash. I did not except this since I was on in Qatar for three days and had no use for cash. After a long struggling wait. The manager made an exception. My room was very nice (43615) however the bathtub had hair in it when I was to take my shower. Also, the neighbor had his music very loud late at night and was unable to sleep. I called security and they handled it very professionally. The TV had very few English movies or channels. Just CNN. One of the days, there was work on the Carpet in the hallway. The workers finished and left the hallways in a complete mess for almost 12 hours. A simple vacuum would have made a great difference, in addition a very strong smell of Glue. Breakfast 30$ a breakfast was a bit high for the offering. The food was not great but not bad. The offering I felt was a bit poor and always the same. Perhaps fresh fruit (not cubed in a bowl) or french toast or Eggs Benedict. Pool was very spacious and nice. A bit far from tower 4. I was unfortunately asked not to take in my small bottle of water. I found strange as a hotel guest no water on such a hot day.

QatarWhen we arrived, no one was available to help us with our luggage. Despite requesting assistance, we were not attended to, and we noticed that others were being helped. Additionally, during checkout, we waited for 10-15 minutes because the receptionist seemed unsure of what to do and frequently asked the receptionist next to her for help. On a positive note, the male receptionist was very helpful and provided excellent assistance.

This place is old but gold. The staff were so kind and approachable. My friend was given a slice of chocolate cake on plate because it was her birthday when we booked the room. The neighborhood feels safe and there are restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store where essentials are readily available.

VietnamI couldn't figure out the aircon, and my TV wasn't working properly. To be fair, I could have asked the staff for assistance but I was there for a short time. My view was also just of another building.
The room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean with good facilities. The location was central and there was a shop and some restaurants downstairs. My favourite part of my stay was the breakfast! I really loved the food and was happy I paid extra for it to be included.

Wow amazing hotel. Has everything you need. My mom loved it as a tourist. The shopping at the hotel mini super market. The location is the best. The view was amazing. Loved it.
