PortugalAir conditionning incredibly noisy and vibrating. Breakfast far away due to the renovation of hotel: the way to the place is quite dirty. The breakfast place not cleaned (tablecloth, floor...) Few possibilities for eating (due to emplacement and renovation) New reception area not clearly indicated
The Veranda swimming pool: big, quite (when no music), good bar service. Big room, clear, sunny, confortable, good minibar (cooling). Beautiful view on the river and the sunset. The nature around the hotel (river, birds).

RussiaLack of preliminary feedback: First, before booking, we had sent them several messages on booking, - they didn't reply, we had sent them an email, they didn't reply either. And that was during low season. Clearly issues with the management of the hotel. We went there specifically for such amusement as kayaking, jacuzzi, billiard, table tennis, yet none of those were available. We requested several times for any chance to take a boat ride, they said it was impossible and added that they don't provide such services, yet their brochures in the hall indicated the opposite. Ping-pong table was broken, billiard was completely destroyed with several balls lacking. The area around seems to be under constant and hopeless maintenance, hopeless because 70% of the territory should be completely rebuilt rather than refreshed, everything looked old and shattered, the wallpapers in the rooms falling apart, no bathrobes, no sockets next to the beds, minibar prices are unreasonable, plenty of insects. Nobody explained us when we were checking in what facilities are available and where they are - at the reception there was only one person speaking English and she was always busy. The hotel is clearly understaffed, they desperately need proper maintenance since it is literally falling apart. The area around is dangerous for children and adults - broken glass bottles near the jacuzzi and swimmingly area that is not working, unmaintained swimmingpool facilities and unsafe playground for children, although children's room is absolutely fine with great staff. Overall, the hotel is not good value for money. Maybe in early 2000s it was okay and I bet they charged the same amount as now. With all the disadvantages they should provide a decent discount for their clients, but they charge them as if this place is a newly refurbished five star hotel. This hotel deserves 2 starts, but not 5.
Huge area, almost no guests, at least when we were in low season, perfect for bird watching and relaxing near the river, the air is fresh, peace and quiet. Perfect breakfast, very pleasant staff, in general very nice rooms, especially with the view to the river, two big swimming pools. TV has a few foreign channels as well - French, German and a few in English. Nice wifi.

United States of AmericaWhen we arrived there were mosquitos in our room all night, so we didn't sleep well. The hotel is an hour from the airport. It is not close to the center of town. The staff did not help us with our luggage or show us to our room. They have a big water slide that only is for little kids.
Beautiful pool next to the river and bird life on the river. The staff placed rose petals on the bed because I requested it so when we arrived their were a few chocolates on the bed with the rose petals.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is old, outdated, dirty, filled with mold and mildew. The "manager" Jorge was unresponsive and clueless. The breakfast was mediocre. Everything was literally falling apart and it smelled awful. It's very far from the city and the roads are in deplorable conditions. Uber drivers would cancel every request for pick up and the neighborhood seemed dangerous and uninviting.
The Executive Suites are VERY Large. The hotel staff stated that they are being purchased by Marriott and therefore, have not kept it up in hopes that they no longer have to handle it's upkeep. The resort was once a rich mans paradise, now, its a slum.

Paraguay1.Staff in the front desk didn't use masks following the protocol for covid 19. 2. There was no mini bar, just water in the freeze. Also no hair dryer, slippers,... everything had to be asked for. 3. Poor recreation program for little kids compared to other hotels.
