we fell in love with this place. we felt like we were at our own home something you never feel at a hotel. we had a ground floor room at the back. The decor is special and antique while the rooms themselves are modern. The rooms were spacious, bathroom was lovely and big. lounge chairs on the walk our patio. we loved the location, away from everything. definitely better to have a car when staying here in our opinion. The owners were lovely, kind and hospitable! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible villa with us! They have an adorable black German shepherd too. This was our first stay in our Algarve - Lisbon trip and definitely nowhere else compared. They have well kept grounds with a tennis court and a lovely pool on the top deck with stunning views 😍

Five days was too short!!

What is not to like about this charming, GEM of a stay where the owner makes you feel at home yet elevated as a hotel stay. The private beach and view was breathtaking and best beach, in our opinion, on the Algarve. It is central to other nearby towns and excursions yet offers an exclusivity and opposite of so many nearby areas which were more touristy. Closeby to incredible restaurants and markets (O Luís, Clarice, Lidl, Intermarché). Tennis court & pool were easily accessible & great addition. We kept very busy during our trip but always spent time absorbing the gorgeous view from the balcony and soaking in the beauty surrounding this location.

All was awesome! The water of the Atlantic ocean is still quiet cold in May- so perhaps we will come September next time!

We loved our stay at Foz Club. Abilio was so friendly and helpful. We had an awesome room- very spaciuos, comfortable king-sized bed and lovely bathroom. The best part was the deck with both a table and chairs and reclining chairs. We had the most amazing view! We enjoyed walking ( or catching a cheap Uber) into Alvor in the evenings for dinner and to watch sunset from the marina.

Excellent location. Definitely recommend taking a walk along the cliffs, just outside of the hotel. Amazing views. Also recommend to take breakfast, delivered at your room and you can enjoy the breakfast on your balcony.

Proximity to the ocean with its own private beach. A most serene and beautiful setting among the rock beaches and coves. The most friendly owner Abílio takes a personal interest in the quality of your stay and needs. The optional breakfast is served in your room and is a delicious feast. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to all looking to stay in Alvor.

The outdoor pool and terrace looked a bit sad without any nice decorations or plants. I think it could be improved. It would have been nice to find some information of some local sights.

The owner of Foz Club is extremely helpful and very friendly. I was very grateful as he gave me very good directions and parking information to drive to Portimao. The property is off the main road and beautiful situated by the coast with a fantastic view to the sea. I could even see the sea from my hotel bed in the morning! The hotel is a gem and quite unique and a far distance away from the horrifying concrete hotel buildings in the Algarve. It is very peaceful place and the hotel is situated in the beautiful landscape of the Algarve. There is even a private beach just for the hotel guests. You would need to wear good hiking boats to get to the beach. There are also other beaches you can walk to along the coast from the hotel. You would need a car to get to Fox Club. Approx. 1 hour drive from Faro airport. However it is only a 10 minutes drive to Alvor with many restaurants and bars. I will be back next year! 😎

Stepping into the club felt like being whisked away onto a set of a James Bond movie. It is an original setting and offers spectacular seaviews. Upon arrival, the owner personally greeted us, adding a touch of genuine warmth and exclusivity to the experience.
