Exceptional place! Exceeded my expectations. Very clean. Room cleaning and towels change every day. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good facilities to prepare your own food. Free parking nearby. The best location, the best service, the best hostess. Everything was great. Wonderful location just a few steps from the beach, well-equipped kitchen, delightful atmosphere, I felt like a guest at the best friends' place. Highly recommend.

Everything was great.

Location was excellent, we had the double room with balcony and shared bathroom. Very good value! Very quiet at night-time and the staff and other guests very all very nice. Would definitely stay again.

The sound isolation isn't perfect, but we didn't mind, it didn't affect our stay, because everything else was great.

Place is only 2 minutes from the ocean, with the most beautiful sunsets. Everything was clean, kitchen was fully equipped, the personnel was great. I would definetly return to this place. :)

Some toilets are smelling bad even after cleaning. Also some showers are so clogged that you can’t shower without paying attention for not flooding the bathroom. And there are stains on the walls and bedsheets from killed mosquitos.

The employees have been very friendly and the location is awesome! Very chill atmosphere!

Dudes that shared the room was an Indian dude that snored louder than a lion's roar. They had a sleep apnea machine, then another dude came in and snored just as loud if not louder. He was there my entire stay XC. They snored and stayed there the entire week I was there XO. Snorers should have their own room. Like never has sleeping at a hostel been so uncomfortable. When I mentioned it, they said they didn't have any extra rooms (which was true because a bunch of kids came in from a school and had the rooms). While passable, the rooms can be exponentially improved for cheap by making a few small changes. It was hard to sleep. Also, most hostels usually have privacy curtains around each of the beds, this one did not. Consequently, people can watch you while you sleep. Also, each of the beds did not have plugs, so you had to find one and plug your electronics in out of view and other people could take them if they wanted. Another issue that I found was that the hostel was lacking is that usually each of the beds in hostels usually have personal wall mounted mini tables and personal lamps inside them to hold personal items. This hostel did not. The curtains prevent the lamp lights from being seen by the other beds. Also, they could be a bit more organized with the locker keys, because they didn't know which keys went with which locker. They should develop a labelling system for this.

It was a very nice clean hotel and location, beautiful clean beach, interesting area when I explored. Excellent for exercising. Also, the kitchen and building was beautiful and clean. Very beautiful intelligent helpful receptionists as well :D Portugal is a beautiful country with an excellent underlying infrastructure in that area.

The building is old, so noise comes through from other rooms.

Great location, and an accommodating manager who gave us another (bigger) room (at no extra cost) to be away from the sounds coming from the lower reception area.

It is very noisy at night, the rooms should be sound proof, you can hear literally anything, from people talking at the reception, slamming doors or simply having a shower. A real shame, because the hostel itself it is very good.

Localisation: 24-hour tickets on white transportation cards do not work on this side of the river. If you do not know that and do not have the prepaid ticket, you will pay extra for the bus tickets to the driver.

Busing into lisboa is a slight pain, so I'd only come if you want the beach life.

If you need a break from constant travel this is the place. It's relaxed, everyone is friendly and it almost has a homey feel, many people are remote working and or there to surf. Walking to the beach in barefeet in under 2 minutes. Can't beat it.

Given Caparica is famous for surfing, the place unfortunately lacks the style and vibe of a surfing hostel.

Literally steps away from the beach. Great terrace with amazing views over Caparica.

The locks to the front gate and front door were broken so it wasn't the most secure, but the area felt very safe and I'm sure this is being fixed. We ran out of clean towels but we should have requested more. The walls aren't very sound proof so neighbours might keep you up if you're trying to get an early sleep to surf in the morning.

Beautiful building and location with all the amenities you need and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a surf stay at Costa da Caparica who is looking for comfortable but social accommodation.

One fridge in the kitchen for all the guests. Got locked out of the room with no phone one night and slept in the lobby because there was no staff

Went there to surf. Came for a week, stayed for a month. Loved the town. The hostel is clean, has a big kitchen to cook in, places to hang around, and a nice pool in season. There are some great parties even in winter.

its already very good, it was not season but if they can just clean outside surroundings and in night time someone available for assistance would be excellent.

I stayed there with my family. during my stay I found everything was more than i expected. clean room very good service. easy access to any thing needed. parking site. very friendly staff. hope to choose again for my next visit to costa da caparica. hope to see julia again the Cat live in next door. she love to see visitors and my daughter missing her.
