Had an issue with my booking and spent the first night in the apartment next door and not the studio as booked. The owner came to apologise and sorted a swap the following morning. They refunded the difference of the one night stay. Had a bad flying ant problem inside the apartment, coming from the kitchen. The owner sent the cleaner very quickly to hoover and spray the apartment. The Wifi drops out and isn’t very strong when it’s connected. I had to use mobile data. The location is wrong on booking.com, find it on google maps instead.

Unfortunately the mattress was a bit too soft for me, so I ended up with a lot of back pain. However my boyfriend had no problems at all, so I believe its everyone preferences.

Great location, very quiet and private place. Ideal for people who would like to rest and enjoy country side. Even with all 3 rooms booked, pool was perfectly fine to share and we haven’t heard our neighbours at all.

Everything was great

What a fabulous apartment. The pool was perfect, very deep at the deep end, big enough to actually swim in and a perfect temp when we were there in June. The unit had a comfortable bed, kitchen with everything you need, good size bathroom and over all very spacious apartment. It is a way from the coast but we had a car and didn't mind the drive and enjoyed eating in and cooking our own meals for a change. Supermarket about 10mins away by car. Didn't have a lot of contact with the owner/hostess? Always friendly if a little slow in replying.

Only downside was the VERY poor wifi, normally I don't care, but because you are remote you also don't have 4G internet, especially if you want to do some work this place is not recommended. And the ants in the cutlery drawer.

Nice and quiet accomadation among the orange fields far from the tourist crowds. Nice pool and fresh orange juice.

Nothing whatsoever

We liked the quietness. The room was clean and big enough (especially for the money we paid). The direct surroundings contained some beautiful villas and we enjoyed walking amongst them. In three days we only saw one car passing by (no doubt a resident). The views from our private roof were excellent.

The apartment was not very luminous being at ground floor, but the big terrace compensated this lack.

The villa is located in the countryside, with a beautiful view above the surrounding area. It's not close to the ocean but by car you can reach the nearest beach in 20 minutes and the place is very quiet. The nearest town, Silves, is really picturesque and ancient. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. Our apartment was very clean and had all the comforts (A/C, microwave, dishwasher, TV, wifi, even the bidet: if you are Italian you know). Our host was very nice and welcomed us with lots of fresh oranges and a typical dessert. Our apartment had a large private terrace with a beautiful view.

Wear down equipment (old or not serviced). Very bad Internet connection (at least in our apartment - weak wifi signal), not suitable for stable remote work. Lack of washing machine.

I loved staying in Vila Odysseus. Vila is located on a smaller hill and has an amazing view over the oranges’ fields. The hosts were incredibly nice and sweet. They even had a puppy who was keeping me company. :) I really enjoyed my stay! 10/10 would recommend this to a friend!

Reaching the place without a car is unpleasant. There's a long way from any train station, and it's a walk by a busy street without a sidewalk. Also the bathroom is very small, so small that it's hard to get into the shower actually.

The communication with the host was good. There are some treks around you can go for. Kitchen is well equipped, there's a dishwasher. The place was quiet.

Access to a washing machine would have been great, but there's a dry-cleaning service on request available with prices and everything. Also bathrobes and towels for the pool/sunbeds might be handy, good thing we brought our own.

Fantastic location, amazing view, fantastic pool, and the apartment was very cozy. Watched quite a few amazing sunsets, there are small country-roads around the place through the orange orchards. We got tips for good nearby places from the host, and she helped us with anything we needed. There are plenty of sun-beds around the pool, it's very quiet and just nice. There's also a huge golf field within sight, so it all gives you a good vibe, that "Life is beautiful" feeling.

The building is pretty and has a nice pool. The staff is super friendly. You can park your car in the courtyard. The apartment has everything you need and is furnished really classy.

cleanliness of room , walls were all mouldy and you could see there had been leak before. No towels or sheet were changed or offered to eb changed in whole stay and we were there for 3 nights
