A little dark in the corridors and no signs of where the lifts and stairs were. So it is a bit confusing to get to the breakfast hall. The food-table in the dining room is not convenient and too small. I missed some salads. 🥗 In the weekend some non- hotel guests show up at the swimming pool: because the public park is next to it and you just can walk up to and into the swimming area and hotel.🤔

The beautiful garden🌴🌿🌺, very nice with -gold mosaics- salt water pool (with shower and enough beds and shadow), the huge rooms and the beautiful historical yellow palace.🤩 Very quiet 😃 Staff and cleaning ladies are very calm, kind and helpful. 🙏 Close to supermarket and train station. Close to Cascais and Lisbon. Also great Italian restaurant within 3 minutes walking. Try the tiramisu!💫

To go into Lisbon or Caiscais you need to take a metro or 25 euro taxi but it's a good place to relax and plan day trips from. There didn't seem to be a lot of staff so room service or any special requests could be slow at times.

The rooms and facilities were amazing! The most beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are stunning and all rooms had balconies.

We stayed in one of the rooms far from main reception. The person that showed us the room took us to the longest way possible. It took us some time to find a straight way to exit. We had to carry the luggage down to main reception by stairs and then take them back to level 0. It doesn’t s make much sense for the reception to be below the stairs. The bathroom was quite old and lack amenities. Just bad quality shampoo was available. A hotel of this caliber should to provide everything needed for comfortable stay.

The location is amazing and super convenient. There are many restaurants options around and all services( ATM, Pharmacy, coffee shops, grocery stores, train station, etc). The blackout of the room is really good.

Great complimentary breakfast each morning with a wide selection of food and drinks. Staff was always pleasant and helpful when we needed assistance. Property is unique and has plenty of memorable attributes that will leave lasting memories. Easy location to go explore and find a nice place to eat nearby.

This is by far one of the most beautiful hotels I ever been in. You are literally in an historical site, with an old church and the most beautiful gardens as part of its premise. The rooms are extremely big and comfortable and the pool is beautiful (didn't go inside though). I was sad I could only spend two nights there. Would love to go back!

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. AC was amazing in room 320, but barely functional in 319. We tried different settings and eventually slept with the patio door open to cool off

Soundproofing is an issue. You can hear your neighbours talking if their volumes is even slightly above conversation level. Noise from the corridor and issue. Compared to other hotels, fire regulations were not obvious, fire doors as breaks in very long corridors were absent, self closing room doors and no evidence of sealing strips to lock fire/smoke in or out of rooms. Ventilation in bathrooms is an issue with smells coming in from the plumbing or ventilation system.

This hotel exceeded expectations! The older portion is absolutely lovely. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were super helpful. The train was closer and more convenient than we initially thought it would be. The grounds were beautiful.

Free Coffee and tea and higher level toiletries in the room would make sense for a 5 star hotel.

Big rooms, comfortable, amazing views, extremely nice staff. But I have to mention Andreia at the reception who went the extra mile as I lost my phone in the pool (unaccessible place) and managed to get it (surprisingly quick). Determined and very professional.
