First days there was a very strong odor but we got used to it eventually (maybe disappeared).

The bathroom in our room was really small but a bit bigger on another one. A big person would have trouble using the toilet in ours. Other than that, it was as described.

The location and price were great. The common kitchen and lounge area were very nice, clean and organized. Because it was low season, we did not meet anyone else in the building. It was very quiet.

I was more than 2 hours outside the front door in the rain waiting for they answer the phone to get the code to get into the property.

Room Was never clean which It's something i wasn't informed that I had to do it myself. cleaners often forgot to dispose of the kitchen bin. ( but message the owner and dealt with it promptly)Blind on my roof window was broken and didn't gave me a complete black out, waking me and my son very early. Appart from that all was good .😊

Almost all. The room was very beautiful and comfortable. Shared areas are more beautiful, too. It's a very clean place and there is nothing to miss. It's located in the centre and you have everything at hand: shops, supermarkets, chemist, restaurants, beach... Highly recommendable!!!

Pillows were rubbish. Not firm or good size Pillows, too flat and had neck pain following day. Toilet seat cover gets shut and doesn't stay open. It was really annoying. Toilet has some drain smell due to no ventilation I believe.

No one to clean your room or check if you needed more toilet paper. I was there for one week my room wasn't cleaned and my towels were not changed even after asking then if they were able to do it and getting a reply that they would send someone to come. Messages send to them would take a while to respond.

Liked that even with no meals being provided I had a kitchen that I could use and cook if I wished. Easy to access, very closed to the beach and local restaurants.

The smell in the bathroom- apparently the whole Lisbon has the same problem, it's from the sewage, it got slightly better with open windows and the fan constantly working in the loo.

The location is a 10/10. We did stay in winter though, and as the guest house is in the heart of all the action, if you're there in summer and want somewhere more quiet, it may not be for you.

You do not get what is written on the booking page. Not only are the pictures a bit deceiving, but they also put photos of the whole building so it is hard to visualize your room. On the description they mention quite a few things that are in the room which are not in the room, but are available ( I took it up with the owners, but they said sorry for the misunderstanding ) I am going to copy what my reservation stated: "Small Double Room The double room includes a private bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower, and a hairdryer. In the kitchen, guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware. This double room has a tea and coffee maker, a dining area, a flat-screen TV and outdoor furniture. The unit has 1 bed." The last sentence is the main problem; My room did not have a tea or coffee maker, dining area nor outdoor furniture. The owner's answer was that they did not mean "that", that they meant that it is available in the dining area. Which also is only half true, the kitchen area does have a fridge, microwave and a water cooker. No coffee maker, no tea maker, I did not find the stovetop nor a dishwasher, everything was washed by hand. Besides that, the rooms are small -not a huge deal- I was expecting small, but these are REAL small, I could not lift my elbows outwards without touching the walls. Then, the rooms do not have good isolation between the other rooms, so you hear everything, and I mean everything. People having sex in the rooms next door or across the very small hallway. When people spoke in the room besides, I could hear pretty much the whole conversation.

The highlight of this property is the location. It is really great, close to a main walkable street and close to restaurants, supermarkets and about 7 mins walking to the beach. It was clean, the whole building was well taken care of.

Self check-in, opening doors with codes - very comfortable, automated process. Great location: 5 minutes walking distance to the beach; restaurants, shops, supermarkets in 2 minutes walking distance. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

communication, explanation I had booked the property by booking en went to the door, could'nt enter the property and could'nt reach anybody. Later could reach a person and they have sent me the information regarding entrance and all. I had to wait in front of the door more than 30 minutes without any communication.
