Located in the middle of a beautiful Pear Orchard it is serene, quiet, peaceful with access to small villages, towns with everything you need, beautiful beaches, Obidos Castle, and a dinosaur park. The best part are the owners, Roger and Nazare. They are the very best example of what you hear about the kindness, and giving spirit of the Portuguese people. The breakfast is a custom prepared bounty of fresh fruits, juices, breads, pastry, coffees, teas, cereals to rival the fanciest 5 * inner city hotel without the noise and crowds.

Rogerio, the owner, and his wife are very welcoming. We had an amazing stay in this nice B&B. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay for a few days, where you can enjoy the calm and nature. The room and place are very clean, and the breakfast is top quality.

I liked everything and have no complaints.

The owners were absolutely lovely, very welcoming, and warm. Made us truly feel like the house was ours, even if only for a weekend. Even shared spirits and wine with us and always made sure that we always had anything we needed or wanted. The breakfasts were delicious and served with plenty. The location was in a beautiful rural area, with access to a main road nearby. Very calm and quiet. It even had parking right in front of our room.

Roger and his wife were so very welcoming and their place was homey, comfortable and beautiful! We had 4 rooms, all were decorated tastefully and clean. Water was hot and had good water flow in the shower. Breakfast was very tasty and prepared by Roger and his wife. There is an equipped kitchen and a long dinning table so we were able to prepare a family dinner for ourselves. I can't describe enough how nice Roger and his wife were! We truly recommend

Welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The location was excellent great base to explore the area. Set in beautiful surroundings, the property has everything you need, lovely common area, rooms have great decor, clean with a really comfortable bed, breakfast was fantastic.

Great location - very quiet, a short drive to the main highway, and very close to Óbidos and the (amazing!) Buddha Eden Garden. Convenient parking area just outside the door, a very nice breakfast, and most importantly - the hospitality! Rogerio and Nazare are amazing, very welcoming hosts who made us feel at home!

Everything was great

Vale du Grou was fantastic. Rogerio and Nazare were wonderful hosts - couldn’t do enough for us - so helpful. The house is so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - set us up for the day. They gave us great advice on nearby restaurants and best places to visit - we ate at Mae d’aqua which was lovely. The Buddha Eden garden was fantastic - we were quite enchanted by the place. Obidos has a very pretty old town within the castle walls. All in all we have had a lovely two nights at this exceptional air b n b thanks to the lovely hosts

The surrounding orchards, the beautiful trail for our morning walk, the proximity to Óbidos and Delgada, the patio for our morning coffee, … everything felt like “home”. The owners were hospitable, kind, welcoming and very helpful . Roger even provided us with great suggestions of where to visit and where to eat.

The owner of the property is exceptionally friendly, and helpful.The guest house is at the entrance of 7 Hactor Peach farm everywhere you go is just beautiful.Heavy breakfast served with 90 %homemade Organic items.The huge share dining hall with modern equipment.So comfortable you just feel like in your own home.
