Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaOur room on the fifth floor required us to haul our heavy luggage up and down some stairs. Very challenging for a couple of seniors! No view out the window except a wall.
The reception staff were very accommodating and helpful. Really liked the outside tables, chairs and ashtrays to enjoy my morning coffee in the fresh air. Bartenders were great! Good security.

AustraliaThe room looked a bit smaller than the photos suggest and we could only fit 1 open suitcase in the room at a time so had to take turns. Bathroom is seperated by some frosted glass, but still feels there's no privacy - everything can be heard! You'll get to know your parnter a bit better!
Great location - close to everything we needed. Great staff, buffet brekkie was perfect and comfortable bed had some great sleep.

Located centrally close to a lot of places, shops, metro, restaurants etc. The staff are nice and friendly. Kudos to the breakfast and reception staff. They are all friendly. Thanks.

GermanyOur room was located to look to the street were the tram drives, there is also a flashlight wich makes noise when flashing green for pedestrians. Sadly we were able to hear those.
The staff is really nice and had good recommendations for food or activities around the Place or even restaurants in other cities. The room was cleaned every day when we wished for, even if we didn’t leave the room bevor 4 pm.

IranThe shower was too small, you couldn't turn,l and not a good water drainage. Specifically, if you have long hair to wash, the shower would overflow, and the bathroom floor was all wet. The bed was low and bot very comfortable. Cleaning staff kept forgetting toiletries and water.
The location was amazing, staff were very helpful specifically Pedro and Rita. Room was adequate size and clean.
