A lit if noise from the street, which did not bother me but can bother others. A/c did not work properly for first two days, had to wait for hot water to run and it never got really hot, just warm. Hotel looks nice, but there was mold in the shower room

Housekeeping maids could be more efficient as I found them lacking in specific tasks. Rooms require more power plug points.

Great location. Well designed room, comfortable mattress, well maintained and equipped bathroom. Very good breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Attentive and pleasant staff with prompt response.

- Rooms are not noise canceling, you can hear an alarm ringing from the other rooms and people or staff chatting (woke up every day at 6.45am with the neighbor's alarm) - Wifi wasn't good enough for videocalls - Backyard view from the window of the room was really ugly - you just felt being outdoors or not staring outside - No coffee machine in the room, only coffee powder

I had a bad interaction with one of your receptionist which I had to ask for the complaint book. It was the first time on my traveling years that I had to do this. This receptionist should be reprimanded. As I've witnessed more complaints with the same person.

There is no electric socket next to the bedroom. In fact, it's only two in front of TV. The TV signal is not very good. It's should be better to have a smart TV. At least I can watch netflix and mirroring to TV.

Breakfast is very good, a lot of choices. Easy access to Metro and Buses Stop. The bed was comfortable.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the town centre, bairro alto, Chiado etc. I had a chance to choose a room on the back side which was very quiet. Breakfast was varied and good choices and healthy eating.

1) There are no power plugs next to the bed, and only two on the opposite wall. Nowadays when everyone needs to charge their phones next to their bed, this is a huge inconvenience. 2) The bed mattress is of the type that whenever someone turns in their sleep, the whole mattress shakes like there’s an earthquake, waking up their bed companion. 3) The description of the room clearly states that there is an electric kettle, but there was only an espresso making machine with a few coffee pods. We arrived late at night, and went on to have two miserable mornings trying to make do with what was available in the room, until we thought of going to the reception and asking for a kettle, which was promptly provided. The customer shouldn’t have to go and ask for things that were supposed to be there. 4) And last but not least: the door of the ensuite bathroom is made of glass, and not wood or any lightproof material. When someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the whole room is lit by the diffused light from the bathroom, which can wake up anyone sleeping in the bed. I believe that this material is entirely inappropriate for ensuite bathroom doors, since some people need total darkness in order to sleep. This is a design flaw that would prevent us from going back to this hotel.

The room was of nice size, with view on the Avenue, and the location is great.

The receptionists could be more friendly and helpful , except Pedro whos was very helpful , they hardly and after a while answer the internal calls , if you need something you have to call several times to be responded . The electricity was cut in my second night and it was so hot in the room they said its a problem in the whole street buildings. it came the following day in the morning but partially the AC and bed side lights did not work i called them to complain they mentioned that they are waiting for the technician but nothing happened till i met Pedro in the corridore i told him about the problem and imediately he sent the technician and fixed it

The location is very good in a queit and chick place , its 3 mintes away from the metro station , it was very convenient to the purpose I went for , the room is very clean with all facilities, person may need , the window was looking at a queit back street so i could sleep deeply without any noise the reception and the lobby are very big , there were several seating areas where you can pamping yourself .

It seems to be an old hotel. Don’t expect too much from the facilities.
