Location could be better of course since this hotel is a bit far from the city center (half an hour by foot). However, taxi in Porto is quite cheep so the distance was not a problem. As I said, breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods and drinks. Howevery, meny things were not so tasty and high quality (compared to other european hotels I visited before).

The room was nice, clean and spacious with all the facilities one might need (minifridge, coffee/taa maker, table, etc.). Bed was very comphy. The staff was polite, the room was cleaned daily together with towel change. Variety of food and drinks was offered at the breakfast buffet.

The room was nicely designed, modern, clean and spacious with plenty of plugs (also right besides the beds) and a large TV. The breakfast was simply outstanding! The best one I ever had in Portugal with an extensive buffet with quality food and a lot of variation throughout our 5-night stay. The 24-hour-reception works perfectly with actual reception staff present all the time - this was important for us as we arrived with a late flight and also arrived late at night on the days we visited the Primavera Sound festival. From the nearby Casa da Musica you can reach the old town of Porto by metro within a few minutes. There are also several buses that go directly to the Parque da Cidade (driving time app. 30 minutes) where the Primavera Sound festival takes place. The hotel is perfectly located between the two spots and was therefore a great choice for our stay! :)

Check in was a little unpleasant, I felt a cynical attitude towards us from the receptionist, who gave the impression that because we had a budget stay, it was for this reason. At the same time, another existing customer came in (coming from the bar) to whom he responded with a completely different level of service and said with a smile that he would complete our check-in and take care of his needs.

I turned the tap on in the shower/bath only to discover a lot of dirt underneath the tap. The sink was also very dirty underneath on outside ,all around rim that connects with stand holding it up. Cleaning supervisor should check this.

Excellent breakfast ,bedroom had kettle, coffee, tea,milk. Clean towels daily. Free bottled water first night.

The parking can be a problem if you are if a big car

One word, closet. I don't want to shoot down the hotel, but this seems to be problem in every hotel in Portugal🤨 People who desings these rooms, don't the test them?? If you stay 4-6 days over there forexcample, you wan't to put your staff to closet...right? I don't wan't keep them in my bag😉 But over all, the hotel is ok👍

Sound proofing is needed! We could hear the neighbors talk and snore, and could also hear their alarm clock in the morning! No carpets in the rooms, which would have reduced the sounds.

Very good breakfast, much to choose from, including fresh orange juice. Nice to see that the staff cleaned as well the placemat as the table with a clean cloth after each guest! Nice spacy size of the room, big safety box. Big curtains shutting out all light. Nice with refrigirator and coffee making equipment. Nice with carpet in the corridors to reduce the sounds. OK quiet during the night.
