Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SloveniaThis apartment is worth it for the location alone. The location is amazing, close to anything you might need. It is also very spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly. The parking is very narrow and will only fit smaller cars. There is however another parking a minute away, which charges 5 EUR per day, if you have a bigger car and don’t want to struggle with parking every day.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment. Private parking is accessible but it is a very small area in the back yard of the house and it is sometimes very difficult to park the car or drive out the parking area because cars are very very close to each other.

United KingdomThe only small issue we found was that the hot water was on a meter and when we was getting ready to go out my partner would have to have a shower then turn it off for 5-10 mins then I could have mine but that’s such I minor thing It would not effect my rating
The location was fantastic and the apartment was clean and spacious it had all facilities that you need on a day to day basis it felt extremely secure and was a fuss free check in. Cristina was extremely helpful and always answered any query we had… I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you ever want to stay in Funchal. Also the famous Funchal market was a 5 minute if that walk away and you are so close to the seafront the price was extremely good aswell will definitely book to stay here again if there is availability when we decide to return. Madeira is stunning.

RussiaSuper comfortable and well located apartment. We could walk around Funchal without taking the car. The center is 15 minutes walk through cute streets and the cable car is 10 minutes walk. Close to the apartment, there's a nice square with restaurants (3 mins walk). In the apartment there's a washing machine which is handy. It's cleaned everyday and the code lock is great as no keys are needed. Thank you!

CanadaNeed to have a coffee machine of some type, instant coffee supplied is not the way to consume coffee. Rooms needs some small side tables for drinks, books etc. Bedrooms need some bedside tables for phones etc
Loved that there was an elevator in the building and breakfast arrived everyday. Cleaning ladies are fabulous Greatly appreciated being able to store our luggage beyond checkout time so we could take a tour of island.
