The hotel was exceptionally. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning. The hotel allowed guests 24 hour access to the garden and thermal pool located on the hotel grounds. The garden behind the hotel was beautiful with so much to see and explore. The thermal pool was so relaxing. The hotel restaurant was excellent and the presentation of food was off the charts. Fabulous staff and extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this hotel experience.

Some of the servers in the main dinning room during breakfast were not very attentive or friendly. Very disconcerting when our evening experiences were so wonderful!

Loved the gardens! The Hotel room was lovely. Especially appreciated the room attendant, she was very accommodating when I requested wash cloths for bathing. Our evening meals in the main Restaurant were fabulous as was the service! The servers in the bar area were excellent and friendly as well.

The bathroom tray was very low and easy to overflow so we had to wipe bathroom floor ourselves after every shower to avoid slip and fall. It perhaps needs raising the threshold. There are also only 2 bathrobe/towel hangers and both are inside the toilets. Perhaps adding couple on the bathroom door would help. I wondered if swimsuit dryer could be installed in indoor swimming pool lockers. But overall we had a really lovely stay!

The hotel’s garden and thermal pools are very special, and guests can use them 24/7! We went for a dip at 6am and had it all to ourselves. An unforgettable experience. We got a room upgrade since we were celebrating a special occasion. The restaurant is an old school high quality food high number of well trained staff and very formal. We really enjoyed the dining experience. Check in was fast and friendly. Nothing was a problem for the staff. Parking was very convenient.

Magical Gardens, magical iron pool. Excellent location, we rented a car. Restaurant is excellent. Nigh quality food, excellent chef creativity, wine is to die for. Sushi nights in the bar excellent. I loved everything about the place. We felt very welcome, people tried the best to make our stay just wonderful. If we come back for a vacation, only this place to stay.

Beautiful gardens, hot natural pool available 24/24 was perfect. Perfect location in Furnas. Delicious and fresh breakfast. Free upgrade to a beautiful suite - thank you for making our stay memorable. In general very kind staff and very helpful concierge providing great tips for daily excursions.

Quiet mountain town with little night life after restaurants close

It is an exceptional location next to a marvelous botanic garden with a large natural hot pool and a short drive to a nearby lake that has a fascinating thermal history and excellent hiking trails. Enjoyed after-hours at the large hot pool and the exceptional buffet breakfast
