the location cannot be reached by uber and must find the regular taxi. The place has no lift and our room was on the 2nd flr. But anything else was perfect

We love the view and the fact that it’s near the castle. Lots of souvenirs shops nearby especially the one owned by an old couple they sell their souvenirs cheaper than the others

The apartment is quite small but well laid out. No outdoor area or balcony.

Great location in the Alfama right next to the castle entrance. Quiet, clean, light, pleasant and well-equipped. Easy and clear self check-in. Easy to find. Air conditioning was great. At first only fan worked, but there were clear instructions on how to get the AC to work. Good restaurant recommendations from host.

Ordered a taxi both directions to the airport, but they can't get to the inn without a special permit and we had to drag the luggage up hill over the cobblestones for 300m.

Nice and clean place located next to the castle and good restaurants. Really quiet at night.

The twin bed was quite firm and not the most comfortable to sleep on. The king bed was very comfortable.

Appreciated able to get in early as we had not slept the night before. Was great to experience being near the castle. The apartment was nice and bright. Was very appreciative of getting a taxi right at the door to take us to the train station. Loved the fig goodies and water left for us. Loved the little restaurant beside the apartment. Made fabulous white sangrias.

Castle Inn is very clean and comfortable. It is the best located for walking in Lisbon. I recommend it anybody visit Lisbon.

This is a loft apartment which makes part of the living room a challenge for taller people. And the coach-bed in the living room is not great for sitting and socializing or watching TV ....

Nothing to complain about, totally happy with everything.

Very nice and well equipped apartment, in close proximity to Lisbon Castle. The neighbourhood is full of tourists during daytime (as everywhere in Lisbon's more touristy quarters), but nice and quiet in the evening and during the night. Haven't slept that well in a long time. Lovely view of the river from our bedroom, with (during our visit) the added bonus of a full moon. Everything worked absolutely perfectly.

Castle Inn Lisbon is absolutely the top place to stay in Lisbon. From the moment of booking until our departure, we truly felt like guests of this extraordinary home. The location is beautiful, set on a charming street that is lively during the day, adding character to the place. However, at night, it is peaceful and quiet, allowing for complete relaxation. The owner has thought of every detail to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We arrived early due to an early flight, and despite this, we were fully informed about where we could leave our luggage. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised when we were notified that our room was ready earlier than expected. We were warmly welcomed by Sara, a delightful and friendly person who made sure our room was prepared and clearly explained all the details of our stay. Thank you, Sara! The owner regularly checked in to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything, which was very kind and indicative of the high level of service. In the room, we found a bottle of alkaline water, which was perfect for staying refreshed in the warm Lisbon climate – we highly recommend it to everyone! At the end of our stay, we were offered assistance in ordering a taxi, which could arrive right at the front entrance, another example of the excellent service provided.

Nothing worth mentioning

The property is very close to the castle and, bonus, has a few good restaurants and coffee shops/ pastelarias nearby. There is a bus stop a short walk down the hill. The apartment is a good size and I loved the fact that there was an air conditioner in both living room and bedroom. A small kitchenette and fridge with an honesty bar was useful. Shower had amazing pressure and beds were most comfortable.

Apartment door would need a number, as the opposite door looks quite the same.

Nothing, this was simply an amazing experience.

This was by far one of the best and most clean apartment we have rented in a while. The contact was very friendly, and the location next to the castle was fantastic. It required some walking since this area is car-free, but you get the quietest night you can find in all of Lisbon. On the top floor, you get an amazing view too. Renting this apartment is highly recommended.
