This is a little piece of heaven in a beautiful part of the world. When the development is fully finished, it will be a beautiful resort that offers entertainment and tranquility.

The swimming pool was beautiful but we would have preferred to see a separate pool for children. There was a small paddling pool but no families used it. We did not expect to see families on holiday in May but the children were pre-school age. This was not a big issue as we usually went to the beach.

We loved the calm, peaceful atmosphere. We also had an upgrade to a cabana which was wonderful - brand new, lovely modern design and surrounded by trees. The breakfast was exceptional and served until mid-day. A car is essential to reach Comporta and the many fantastic beaches in the area.

The staff were all very friendly but it only opened up 3 months prior to our visit and customer service was still not up to the quality that a property like this needs to be. They are still learning. Also they need more activities- a work out room, a formal spa, organized day trips around the region.

It’s a big compound and our room was at the other side - a short drive from the pool / breakfast area. As I am pregnant, there were times I wanted to lie down in the room and my partner had to drive me back. It’s part of the charm of the hotel that rooms are spaced out, but I would recommend to build more bike paths and put more bike stations for those rooms at the other end (also eco-friendlier)

Beautiful hotel and the pictures don’t do justice. An oasis of calm. We were on our babymoon and the peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. Great value for money for a European hotel, we hadn’t felt that way in a long time. Lots of beaches in the area and some great restaurants that the hotel recommends (you do definitely need a car to get around). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

Really exceeded my expectations. Very unusual in opinion to find this type of properties with such an amazing staff in Portugal. Everything was spot on! The location, the food, the staff, the facilities... everything was amazing.

Missing some facilities (no gym/sauna/spa) and activities proposed in the property outside tennis, and swimming pool. Also missing basic amenities in the room like mini bar snacks, laundry bag and cotton buds/pads for example. Not super kids friendly as no dedicated spaces for small kids.

Fantastic wide property, bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated with taste, modern but not pretentious while staying true to the local style. Breakfast was lovely, and so was the staff at the restaurant where we ate very well (even if we’d love to see more vegetarian/vegan options). We loved the pool area as well.

Our biggest disappointment was the restaurant service. Although the staff was very friendly, they seemed a bit overwhelmed and disorganized. I think an automatic coffee machine would go a long way in making things run smoother in the morning.

All the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, whether on reception, in the dining room and housekeeping. The room was super, bed very comfortable with all the facilities one needed and the terrace overlooking the pine forest. Breakfast and dinner were great. The pool looks amazing a bit cool for the end of February but am sure it’s great once the weather is warmer. The property is all one needed to wind down after a hectic trip around Portugal.

Breakfast is good but could have more options.

The rooms are beautiful decorated and full of natural light. Bed is comfortable and big enough to fit two adults and a toddler. The staff is friendly and helpful, they always insured we had everything we need. Great place to disconnect and rest and truly kids friendly. The restaurant of the hotel is also a must try.

We were in the deluxe suite with terrace as part of a booking upgrade on booking.com and as it was off season we had to travel a bit to the new part of the hotel for breakfast. Won’t be an issue in high season with both sections open but if you’re going soon worth checking with them.

New area to the hotel is gorgeous. Room was very nice and spacious. The staff were all amazing and the restaurant food was great.

We had the most amazing 4 night stay at Spatia. Everything was perfect, the property is gorgeous and so is the room. It's super spacious and the design of it makes you feel super relaxed. The breakfast was amazing, fresh local produce, no food waste like in other hotels, the service was top notch. Coming from hotel industry myself I can definitely say that service was outstanding. Paolo, who served us during breakfast during our stay, was absolutely amazing and really took care of us and our little toddler. Dinner menu was great as well. The property name means room to breathe and honestly it was exactly that. We've never had such relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Would love to come back one day.

Spatia is one of the most special places I have ever stayed at. It is pure magic in every corner and the people working there made it even that more special for us. Every inch of the property is designed to such an excellent standard and you really feel like you are entering another universe of serenity, peace and luxury. The rooms are fantastic and extremely spacious and the finishing touches are beautiful. The outside shower with hot water was one of my highlights and the massive clear glass doors that backed onto the beautiful pines. My partner and I planned to see lots of the surrounding areas but found ourselves in the hotel majority of the time due to its incredible feel and facilities. We played tennis every morning, cycled around, laid but the pool and had evening drinks by the stylish fire pit every night. Food and drinks were amazing! The staff went above and beyond for us and really made our stay SO enjoyable. They have an excellent WhatsAp chat where you can text the concierge about anything and they get back to you immediately. One day we were on a hike and asked for a good beach bar to have a drink and within minutes they replied with suggestions. A special shoutout to Paulo, who served breakfast each day and who felt like a friend by the time our stay was over. His positivity, friendliness and attendance was like nothing else and we were truly sad to say bye to him! Jose, Danielle, Alex and Debbie were also extremely friendly and personable and also contributed to how much we enjoyed our stay. Obviously, I could not recommend this place enough. We can not wait to come back. ps the area and surrounds are also 10/10 stunning and a unique place to visit which differs from other Europeans beach spots.
