Some parts could do with updating, pool and restaurant area were lovely but some parts of the hotel were a bit dated.

Nice walking distance to Lagos old town and the new board walk built around the coast is right outside the hotel and stunning for view points and getting to beaches! Breakfast had everything we needed and we appreciated that towels were changed each day.

The air conditioning systems needed cleaned. Both of us got sick from being in the room and sleeping. And it had a weird smell to it.

The location of the property was great. Right next to the beach and only a quick Uber ride into town.

Felt really cold the first night. Heat pump didn’t switch on- turns out we had to switch the breaker- then all good!

We were out of water for a few hours one of the days. There is no room service. Parking depended on availability of public spaces (although we had no problem).

The gym was a bit outdated but I guess you don't go to the gym when you go to a resort like this.

Room was very clean but simple, no amenities. Furniture very functional. I didn't think I'd booked a budget room, but that's what it felt like.

The included breakfast was convenient. In the afternoons and evenings, we had well-crafted drinks from the bar and an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. The hotel's location was perfect.

Breakfast could have been better, but its adequate for the price category.

Great location just a few steps from the beach, parking was available and free just in front of the building. Renovated clean rooms.

The only minor negative is that the room furnishings are a bit basic, but this is to be expected in a beachfront hotel and in no way detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

The hotel is ideally located near the walkway to the gorgeous sea cliffs. It has a very nice rooftop restaurant, a lovely view of the ocean, and a private beach! Ample free was another big plus for us. The room was very quiet and very clean and we enjoyed the room terrace. The bed was comfortable and there was good water pressure in the bathroom.

- shower drainage was bad - i missed healthier choices at breakfast, a lot of industrialized options (eg oats, seeds) - pool was closed when we were there

- nicest staff you can find, ladies at breakfast were the best :) - rooftop where breakfast is (awesome view) - location, right in front of one of the most beautyfull beaches, easy access to the city center - traditional portuguese pastries available at breakfast

Our room was below the restaurant, and while it wasn't noisy at all, there were strong lights shining down from a sign right above our window. It meant that our room was never more than slightly dark at night. That and the low quality pillows meant we didn't have really restful nights during our stay.

The location is fantastic. The view over the ocean and cliffs is lovely, and the rooftop restaurant made for a great breakfast each day. It also served really tasty food for dinner. The beach was less than 5 minutes away on foot.

Good location - 25 minute walk to town and 500 ft walk to stairs leading to secluded beach. Also across street was raised endless walkways with spectacular views. Great breakfast and superb dining room in rooftop resto with heightened views of ocean.
