Nothing, Amazing Place to stay no complaints!!!

We loved the place! Me, my wife, and 2.5 Year old Baby were staying here our first time in Porto. The rooms are exceptional and clean, they staff super friendly especially Ana Sofia and Francisca, both were super accomedating and very helpful in anything we needed. They made our stay in Porto amazing and we will definitly be back. After our expereince here I don't want to stay in any other place except for the Sheraton. The staff here are a model of what a 5 start hotel should be like. If I could I would give the place a 10 out of 10. BTW the breakfast and dinner is awesome with a ton of variety and friendly staff as well. During the day the have a snack bar and sometimes they have live music in the bar.

There are not a lot of restaurants and cafes around the hotel.

The staff was very helpful. The wheelchair accessible room was excellent, and even had a fully accessible shower.

We were charged 5 euros for requesting plates and spoons through room service. To be clear we did not order food. Just wanted plates . Apparently if we went down and picked it up ourselves, we would not be charged. For the price we paid for 3 days, to charge for plates seemed unnecessary. It might be hotel policy to discourage room service requests without ordering food.

The only thing I would improve are the breakfast options. I would have loved it if there was more variety available.

I’ve really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Porto. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The value for money was incredible. Touristy areas were a short drive away. The hotel had my room ready even though I came in an hour before the check in time.

The hotel is in the business sector and we had to take the Metro to access Porto during the day.

We loved the comfortable beds, which were properly made and also the array of toiletries.

€26 for breakfast ! ! 🤷‍♂️ €20 to use pool / spa 🤷‍♂️ Food in bar was expensive.

The staff were all lovely , they kept a parcel safe for us with our clothes in that we sent forward 3 weeks before. Even though we cancelled our stay at that point. Before re-booking. Cost was about €150 euros not bad for 5 star. The hotel is clean and the food is very good. The spa is nice. Nice area. Beautiful rooms with a good bath and lots of room.

Only thing that left me a bit disconcerted was a situation that happened with the breakfast. When I got to the hotel, I was greeted and taken into the reception. I was informed in what floor I was staying at, room no., etc., and also the fact that I would have a complementary breakfast on the next day, between 07:00 and 11:00. So, on the next day, we came down for breakfast. When we got to the breakfast room, there was no greeter there, so we waited for him. When he came, we informed him our room no. and he showed us to a table. We ate and, as we're about to leave the breakfast room, the greeter came to us and informed us that our breakfast was not included in our reservation. I told him I would pay whatever there was to pay, but that I was informed when I arrived that breakfast was indeed included,. Nonetheless, I was still available top pay whatever. The worker then proceeds to take us to reception, but in a very passive agressive manner, as if I was trying to sneak a free breakfast or something like that, when I already told him that I would pay whatever I needed to pay. He then proceeded to blame is co-worker for telling me that I had a free breakfast: "I have to confirm with my colleague because I have no idea what went through is head to tell you that you had breakfast included." All his speech and way of handling this situation was very passive agressive, again, as if I was trying to pull off something sketchy. Me, who was super discontent with the way that I was being treated, and having already told him several times that I would pay whatever I needed to pay, said one last time: "Sir, either you charge me or you don't." He decided to not charge me but in a very "We're gonna let this one slide" type of way. So in the end, I did not pay for the breakfast. But I'm left with this situation, that I was treated like a child or a scammer.

Infrastructures were astounding. Nice location. Hotel was clean. I mad a special request for glasses and a bucket with ice and they took it to the room and were very nice about it. Staff was mostly nice and thoughtfull, with the exception of the situation that I'm describing bellow.

Location is not that great, but thankfully, the nearest metro station (Francos) is just about 10 minutes walk. The coffee sachets and tea bags were not replenished consistently on a daily basis.

Bed was super comfortable. Slippers and bathrobes were provided, along with other amenities. Free bottled water were also provided on a daily basis.

Usually the use of spa in all Sheraton hotels i stayed so far was for free. But in this Sheraton was not and we had to take a treatment or pay additional fee. This is very strange why we have to take a room in spa hotel if the facility is not for free.

Hotel s not in center, Good choose of food but some of the food was like icing cold. One can’t enjoy cold scrambled eggs and cold sausages.
