The music plays loud on speakers in the hallways at night (10pm and later) but they did turn down the volume when I asked

Crazy number of light switches in room (17!). Needs a master switch by the bed.

The property was so convenient to all the places we wanted to go. Having never been in Porto before it was such a great discovery finding your Hotel. I would highly recommend your Hotel to everybody coming to Porto.

I understand the point of a personal touch, but I really minded a hotel manager sending me a WhatsApp msg after we checked out asking for a good review. MY telephone number was not shared with the hotel for this purposes and I seriously object to my personal data being used in a manner for which I didn't give my consent. I would like that the property take more care of the GDPR provisions.

Very warm welcome. We found a personal note from the manager and some fresh fruit in our room on arrival. We also received a voucher for a complementary drink at the bar. Breakfast had a vast choice and was very tasty. Room was perfect with a wonderful view to the cathedral. Beautiful area - walkable to the city center and sights. Most of the touristic tours start on the square just by the hotel. (a bit uphill, but so is the entire city) Beds - super comfy. Appreciated the wide choice of EN channels on the TV (not just BBC and CNN but a lot of entertainment channels)

Outstanding staff, friendly, welcoming, informative, nice extra touches, personal. Daniel went above and beyond. Upgraded room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had a great city view. Location was excellent: short walk to Sao Bento (downhill), Luis I bridge to Jardim de Morro (level), cathedral (level), top of funicular to and from Cais Ribeira (downhill coming back). Everything in the old town is a short walk. The restaurant/bar had good staff and a nice ambiance.

The good news is people really enjoy hanging out in Porto. The bad news is there is a little park outside of the hotel and some people who seemed to have enjoyed themselves a bit too much hung out there and spoke at the top of their lungs waaaay too late into the night. I wanted to open the window and ask them to turn the volume down but was afraid they’d only get louder. I don’t think there is anything the hotel can do about this but it was unfortunate.

This was a great place. Very, very hip “vibe” and really reminded me that my work was over and it was time to enjoy Porto! The staff was outstanding - kind, remembered us every time we came in and very accommodating to us. The cafe had good food and a nice staff as well. We really enjoyed everything about the hotel.

Room might be a bit small for some depending on personal preference and amount of luggage, but not a problem in my case

Outstanding customer and concierge service - days before arrival, Roger, one of the concierge staff, contacted me, asked for my preferences and interests, suggested and arranged dinner reservations and private tour ideas. Outstanding. Would absolutely recommend.

One plug socket in our room (308) was faulty and ther is not much room to put your own washing bag etc. And the lack of USB connections from the power sockets was a little surprising.

Excellent central location next to Metro. Excellent reception staff and great recommendations for restaurants and travel. Breakfast was very good too along with lunch. Curious double exit (A or B) but practical lift system! Restaurant and bar staff were mostly excellent although a couple could have helped by smiling a little. Beds were excellent too - important for my wife and I as we both suffer from back problems. Would highly recommend and we would use this hotel again in a heart beat.

Perfect location to explore Porto by walking or Metro (few minutes to the next station). The assistance of the team was very very good. No doubts about that.

The DJ at happy hour kick back was a bit too loud, but that is such a small thing!!

The location across from the cathedral was perfect. The bed comfort, the breakfast and three hospitality get an A+. Roger at reception gets Ann A++. This was my second time at this hotel and if I return to Porto again, I will stay here!

Food at the restaurant was quite awful in taste and quality. The front desk staff other than David was not very knowledgeable about the area or nearby laundry facilities. Some more staff training would be helpful for guests.

This was a wonderful central location in Porto and a very clean and comfortable hotel. The best thing was having David at the front desk help us with all our questions regarding parking, laundry place, food etc! He was the most (and only) knowledgeable person out there and made our stay simply wonderful!!

Great attention to service.

The hotel location is ideal to explore Porto. It is within easy walking distance of the downtown attractions. The front desk staff is very helpful and attentive with good ideas of things to do. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The best hotel we have stayed in our Portugal vacation.
