The cleaning could be improved. We requested the room to be cleaned every few days, but it seemed like the service was limited to just changing towels and making the bed. There were also ants in the kitchen area. However, they did not disturb our stay.

The bathrooms and ac were outdated. We could also hear doors slamming and people walking in the hallway. Wish the cold pool was a hot tub instead.

The staff made this visit for us, they upgraded our room and were so friendly to us leaving us notes and champagne in the room. The location is also great as you can easily walk anywhere in the town within minutes!

Excellent location, hotel facilities and breakfast. We felt very welcomed. The staff was very friendly and provided us with useful information. The location is perfect to explore funchal and it's surroundings. You will find many restaurants and bars around. The breakfast had a very nice selection and was plentiful.

The position was perfect for exploring the city. Staff is a team of young people who were beyond kind and helpful. We were family of 5 (two small kids and a baby), and we got an upgrade on check-in. Rooms were clean, well equipped, and digitalised. They offer various fun things to do, so if you need help, it was easy to find a solution. We definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were very comfortable, but I wasn't crazy about the shower which was a bit tempremental.

This was a perfect little boutique hotel, very well located, right behind the cathedral and a couple of minutes to the shorefront. The best thing about it is definitely the staff who are extremely friendly and obliging. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, and the roof garden is charming. We didn't take up the offer of free champagne unfortunately, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a small central hotel in Funchal.

It is right in the center of the city. The room is spacious and clean. Very good breakfast. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and still got the room. I recommend this hotel.

I was staying for one night so the location was excellent - very close to the stop for the airport bus. The rooftop bar was nice place for sunset. And the staff were excellent (especially Fatima who was running reception when I arrived and was very friendly and helpful).

Lovely property. Beautiful aesthetic! The hotel decor is really gorgeous (great Instagram pictures for those who care?)Loved the cute cups and plates used at breakfast. Enjoyed the breakfast, always had so much variety. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They gave suggestions whenever we asked about things to do around the island. The private indoor pool experience was also lovely. Enjoyed being outside on the terrace, the views are pretty nice. Complimentary sparkling wine was also very much appreciated. The hotel restaurant also had really good food as well ate there a couple of times. Fatima and the rest a really great hosts!

Its proximity to other buildings meant the bedroom was overlooked on both sides. Therefore, to preserve privacy, I could never have my curtains open, which was a great shame. If they had net curtains, I could at least have had the heavy curtains open during daylight hours. Tended to be rather noisy outside at night time

Bed was very hard , not a lot of food choices , the toilet and shower were in the middle of the room surrounded by clear glass. Was difficult for taxis to drop off and pick up due to location
