Bits of the hotel are a little tired but nothing a lick of paint wouldn’t sort. Shower head tempremental!!! Good aircon but too noisy to keep on overnight. Suspect this may be a problem height of summer but we managed.

Great central location yet quiet. Staff all very helpful & friendly. Very relaxed rooftop bar & terrace. Room spacious & very clean. Take advantage of the buffet breakfast to set you up for the day!

Loved this property and my stay here! It was central so so much and so easy to get around just by walking everywhere and felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The rooms were beautiful and clean and nice to come back to after a long and busy day exploring Funchal. Many restaurants were close and walkable and the staff was so kind and accommodating. I would 100% recommend!

The parking lot the hotel works with is a bit far (10 minutes walking)

The hotel is very nice in a great central location in Funchal. Breakfast was excellent with a huge verity. The staff were amazing, our luggage was lost between connecting flights and the receptionists were so helpful! They called the airport for us and assured us, and were in general so helpful and attentive to anything we needed! One of the best services I ever received in a hotel.

The cleaning could be improved. We requested the room to be cleaned every few days, but it seemed like the service was limited to just changing towels and making the bed. There were also ants in the kitchen area. However, they did not disturb our stay.

A wide range of breakfast options and the breakfast itself was tasty, perfect location in the heart of the Old Town, spacious, well-equipped room, comfortable bed and a Roof Top - one-of-a-kind, atmospheric, with beautiful views of the city and the island from every side.

The bathrooms and ac were outdated. We could also hear doors slamming and people walking in the hallway. Wish the cold pool was a hot tub instead.

The staff made this visit for us, they upgraded our room and were so friendly to us leaving us notes and champagne in the room. The location is also great as you can easily walk anywhere in the town within minutes!

Excellent location, hotel facilities and breakfast. We felt very welcomed. The staff was very friendly and provided us with useful information. The location is perfect to explore funchal and it's surroundings. You will find many restaurants and bars around. The breakfast had a very nice selection and was plentiful.

The position was perfect for exploring the city. Staff is a team of young people who were beyond kind and helpful. We were family of 5 (two small kids and a baby), and we got an upgrade on check-in. Rooms were clean, well equipped, and digitalised. They offer various fun things to do, so if you need help, it was easy to find a solution. We definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were very comfortable, but I wasn't crazy about the shower which was a bit tempremental.

This was a perfect little boutique hotel, very well located, right behind the cathedral and a couple of minutes to the shorefront. The best thing about it is definitely the staff who are extremely friendly and obliging. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, and the roof garden is charming. We didn't take up the offer of free champagne unfortunately, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a small central hotel in Funchal.
