It was perfect for me. One thing that is good to know is that it is best to use ride share when coming and going from the town and sites as bus service is infrequent. This added expense ( about 5-6 euros one way) was well worth it for me!

Room had no aircon (as expected) but needed a better fan to cool the room. Couldn’t leave window open overnight for air flow as bugs got in (as is to be expected in the countryside). More pillows would have been nice, I’m used to 2 pillows, this is just personal preference. Water glasses and basic cutlery/crockery (plate, bowl, knife, fork, spoon) in the room world have been handy. None of these things are major issues and are just minor inconveniences.

Location and the property itself was beautiful, very scenic and felt like the countryside while still being close to Sintra town area. The room was also very generously sized, we had lots of space, did not feel cramped at all. Breakfast was very good.

The property was a little bit out of the way which made it difficult to get to the centre of the city on occasion because the Ubers were not great at finding their way there.

I specifically chose this property because it was an authentic Portuguese villa with beautiful grounds and original interiors.

Cannot sleep well due to too many mosquitoes at night. There is no air-conditioner. The electric fan is very noisy.

We went to google maps to find the adress of the accomodation. But google maps led us to a wrong adress, so we had to contact the accomodation to get the right way. which we subsequently got by an email. This problem should be solved with google!

We did not take the offered breakfast, because we got up early in the morning to visit very popular places nearby.

It is a beautiful property! A impeccably preserved and decorated manor house on acreage currently utilized for growing grapes. The room we stayed in was large and had an ensuite. It offers a wonderful view of the property. The skyline of Sintra can be seen from the house and is spectacular, in particular at night when several of the castles are illuminated. Breakfast was a delight, served on the deck facing Sintra. A great meal in a wonderful setting. We can’t recommend this highly enough.

Everything was good!

The view from the balcony was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. The host is a very nice person and very helpful. She allowed me to leave my car parked at the property after check-out so I could spend the whole day sightseeing in Sintra and then return to pick up the car later. Uber ride to town was only 4-5 EUR each way. It is totally worth it in my opinion.

The size of the apartment was very big. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The views are amazing day and night. The staff were very friendly. It was worth the short bus ride from Sintra. I liked the breakfast and service. Very good value for what I paid for it
