Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThere is no elevator from the ground floor to the second floor. Elevator starts at the seond floor. It was inconvenient as we have lots of luggages.
The hotel is beautiful and looks fresh and modern. It is a bit crowded due to the stair that intersect the room making the ceiling in some part very low. It is located in the city center and is very accessible.

The location was perfect. Staff were so helpful and really pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. Air conditioning worked well too. It was a quiet room as well. We didn't hear any traffic or outside noise.

The location is excellent for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping and is close to tram stops and Metro. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable with air-conditioning. The breakfast choice was also very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value for the location.

United KingdomThe breakfast staff had a very little room to prepare food which was right next door to where breakfast was served. The tables were very small with no room to place everything.
On arrival and during our stay the reception staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and professional. The hotels design was modern and the room was lovely. Bathroom very modern with lovely smelling soaps. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, more than was expected. Although a little cramped in the room. The hotel is ideally situated, although a little noisy but expected in a city.

United StatesUnfortunate incident when housekeeping threw away some drawings I had purchased. They were wrapped in used cardboard and up against the bedroom wall near the trash can. They assumed it was trash, though it was not on or in the trash can. Management needs to make sure housekeeping understands not to make assumptions in the future. That said, this is a wonderful hotel in a great area.
Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Food was very good. Front desk reception staff was great.
