The area itself, for being in the center, could have a little bit of noise, as there are some bars right behind it, but not a big deal.

It would be nice to have a bit more privacy in the room, since there were 8 beds and the room was quite small. I stayed in a bunkbed that was literally in the middle of the room and visible from all sides, so at least curtain in the beds would he nice. I had to hand towels around my bed to feel a bit more comfortable. There was only one toilet and one shower for 8 people.

The hostel is quite simple but it was good if you’re looking for a cheap place to spend the night. Great location, good cost-benefit rate. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and it had AC.

I was in a shared room, I had to share only with men, maybe that made me feel uncomfortable because the rooms are mixed, but that's a matter of luck, it's not really a problem of the host.

The location is excellent, it is close to supermarkets, pharmacies, markets, cafes and the cathedral.

Besides the points mentioned above, I'd also mention the lack of real contact with personnel, you have to call each time and the answer will be mechanical without any discussion and flexibility possible. I could easily not have a proper roaming to call and I strongly disfavor those robotic "services", especially when the absence of personnel is not reflected in the lower price for the customers. Rooms are very small and subject to noises from night parties from all directions.

The location in the center - but it is loud and noisy in the evenings and in the mornings. The price for the first night was good - but it increased for more than 50% for the second night. The rooms, kitchen and the shower are clean, the house is renovated, but the shower/toilet was occupied more than 50% of cases we were trying to access them. Cleaning ladies are appearing at noon and doing great job. The check in after calling took 10 mins. Shower was equipped with shampoo and soap. Clean towels supplied every day.

Instructions on how to access the property. I had received a booking no. and a pin no. Outside the property there were 2doors and what looked like 2 pin-coded key boxes, or just a PIN code to gain access. It wasn’t clear which was the right door. And fortunately a local just passing by said I had to phone, that the owners or the people who looked after the place were just round the corner. My Portuguese friends tried to phone. It kept saying the o was wrong, but it was the one I had been given. Luckily 2 guests who had already checked in, used their phone which seemed to be the same number and that worked. Them all was well. It needs much more precise instructions. Other places give you more details and ones that work without having to rely on passers by or other guests - by chance.

Location. The room was not fully occupied. It was clean and had toiletries provided.

It took the staff 25+ minutes from the moment I called to come, and give me access to the room. The guy that arrived with the keys didn't speak any English either.

While it is a non-smoking facility, it was reeking of cigarette smoke - probably guests taking advantage of the absence of smoke detectors. Could use a bit of extra maintenance - there were some yellowed stains and mold spots.

Central accommodation - it was right behind one of the buildings of the main square. The place seemed clean and the room was quite spacious. The lady who attended us was very nice. There's a tv and air conditioning. The room had an extra comforter. The kitchen was also quite well-equipped. Good price-value ratio.

Very unhelpful staff who feels like they don't even wanna be working and almost make an effort to NOT help you. Every single adjustment I asked about was denied (understandable as it was supposedly already in the contract) but met with a completely dismissive manner. The gentleman on phone support is absolutely disastrous. I was better assisted and oriented by other guests than by the staff itself.

The location was very central, which is one of the only positives, the bed wasn't too bad.
