Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomCan’t think of anything, except the weather wasn’t great, but that isn’t anything the hotel can control!
Breakfast was great, tea coffee and danish were available all day. If you wanted milk with your tea you only had to ask reception. It was our anniversary on the day we arrived and we were given a bottle of fizz to celebrate. Reception staff were really helpful with everything including restaurant recommendations. The room was tiny but it was lovely. The bed was comfy and we slept really well. The location was fantastic, right in the old town…to get there with luggage we really recommend an official taxi, as they are the only way to get to the door of the hotel.

United StatesIf the AC was just a couple of degrees cooler or blew just a LITTLE bit harder that would have been great given the smoke in the area from the wildfires and some of the later street noise (not unusual or unexpected).
The location was close to the river and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff was AMAZING - very welcoming, helpful and informative. The hotel itself is very modern - bathrooms were spacious, plugs, etc. Breakfast was fresh and beautifully presented with lots of options. Would definitely recommend.

United StatesThere was an issue with our air conditioner the first night and we had trouble sleeping. They had a technician come out to try and fix the problem and they were not able to.. They then put a fan in the room that helped us out and gave us a bottle of wine for our inconvenience.
The staff was incredible from start to finish.. We were welcome when we first walked and and greeted with water and wine.. The host then spent time to go over the map and key locations.. We had an issue with the room and they corrected best they could.. My wife enjoyed the breakfast and there again the staff was very helpful.. When we checked out they called for a taxi service and made sure they were on time. Ricardo and Miguel are some of the staff that help us.

United StatesJust be aware you do not have any kind of view because there are hotels in front of it but in front of those hotels a one minute walk away is the beautiful River. And just like most other places in Portugal there are very small streets where only taxis are allowed to enter so make sure you get a taxi if you have bags otherwise an Uber cannot go in.
This hotel is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. The location is right in the area of all the action by the river.

Ricardo and the team practically read our minds, arranging tours, securing dinner reservations, and even helping us find reputable local shops. But it wasn’t just business—they genuinely took the time to get to know us, which made saying goodbye feel like leaving friends. Our room, with its cozy little balcony, gave us the perfect vantage point to soak in the vibrant street below. It was bustling during the day but blissfully peaceful at night—a perfect balance. And talk about location! We were right by the river, with everything within a 15-20 minute walk, including both the city center and Gaia. Breakfast was a delightful bonus, with daily variety to kickstart each morning. Let’s just say we’re already planning our next visit!

The hotel is in a prime location, and has been recently renovated. The staff was super friendly, welcomed us with glasses of Tailor's white port and were helpful in advising what to do in Porto. Our room was small but was well organized, bathroom was modern and spacious. The breakfast was exceptionally generous!
