There was nothing we didn't love!

We loved everything about the Quinta and our room. The hosts are the kindest people who are always open to give recommendations for activities and dining and also always there to help whenever there is anything you need. You see how much love they put into this place. The breakfast was also very very good! We traveled with our 10 months old baby and stayed for almost 3 weeks, we felt welcome for the whole stay. Also it was no problem to borrow a crib and baby chair. The Quinta is located in Campanario which is about 15 mins from Funchal and everything we wanted to see and do on this beautiful island was accessible (by rental car - important!) within 1 hour 15 maximum. Best place, we will definitely come back!!

We had a wonderful stay in Quinta Pacos Do Lago and simply all aspects were excellent : very big and comfortable appartement, the swimming pool, the view from our terrace to the sea and the surroundings. Also very enjoyable was the variety of the breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, different kinds of eggs and the tables outside on the terrace where we could have our breakfast. And for sure not to forget our hosts Anna and Duarte who gave us daily tips for hikes, excursions, good restaurants in all villages etc. Definitely a B&B to be recommended for all that want to travel to and visit Madeira.

Great welcoming from the hosts, they have been very available during all our stay and shared with us some precious tips and finest addresses to make our stay a success. Last but not least, we could enjoy a superb view on the ocean from the terrace. We definitely recommend this place should you look for an authentic stay in Madeira!

The view from our room was just lovely, the breakfasts were excellent and the suite was spacious and beautifully presented. Our hosts could not enough for us and were always on hand with advice and guidance.

I really liked that during breakfast, which was fabulous, that the manager came and asked if we had any questions for today's trip or would like any recommendations. Also the hotel has a list of recommended restaurants around the island, which I loved and we used a lot. This is a very nice place!

Very comfortable stay in a very clean, quiet and beautiful place! Swimming pool with stunning view ( nice to swim even in January), tasty and fresh breakfast. The best accommodation we had during our trip in Madeira!

Sadly, the swimming pool wasn’t heated and there was no restaurant on site for evening meals. My husband is vegan and there were no suitable restaurants within walking distance. We either ate in our apartment in the evenings or drove to a restaurant in Funchal. Not really suitable for guests without a hire car.

We enjoyed a very spacious, immaculate apartment with a comfortable King sized bed, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette, overlooking the coast. Tasty breakfasts. Very helpful owners and friendly staff. Lovely garden including an avocado tree full of near ripe fruit! No disturbances at night.

Not really a minus, more of a recomandation, some mosquitos nest would be useful

One of the most wonderful stays in our entire life. We loved the quitness, the breakfast (omg, the Pastel the Nata and the fruits!), the beds and pillows, very confortable. All very clean, spacious, boem and the nices suprise is Duarte giving you tips and tricks at the begging of the day. We haven’t got time to thank enough for the stay because we had to catch the flight but we really apreciate your effort you put in this place accomodation. For sure we’ll recommend the stay. The place and hosts were amazing. You just wake up in the morning and have a postcard mountain-ocean view from your suit. Unlike in Funchal, this place is extremely quiet, you can only hear birds and sheeps there. The best part which is not in the description is the host that every morning provides every guest with recommendations for the day. It was very helpful and nice. Would definetely stay here the next time I'm on Madeira.

Normally, we never travel to the same place twice but stayed here for the 2nd time this year and (again) were 100% happy with this beautiful place and the welcoming, super friendly atmosphere the hosts are creating. Since we were 4 adults this time, we chose a villa and were not disappointed. The view is amazing and the whole apartment comfortable, classy and super clean.

Great location with amazing view. Very spacious room with tea & coffee facilities and a fridge. The host family accommodated all guests like family members. Provided with advices what to visit in accordance with weather and wishes. There is also respect of privacy. Breakfast was always freshly cooked. Fresh fruits just picked from gardens. The place easy to find following google map. The host also helps advising how to get there. Good restaurant with local good food a few steps away. Nice swimming pool, not heated but nice to get fresh after adventured day. When I back to Madeira I will not look for other place. Thank you for making my holiday perfect.

The owners and proprietors were most welcoming,, helpful and charming. The position of the house and surrounds were wonderful. The apartment was spacious and tastefully furnished. The buffet breakfast was more than plentiful and with eggs cooked to your choice, set you up for the day

A fan for the night would be good or mosquito screens on windows so they can be left open.

We stayed in the studios away from the main house which was perfect for us as a family. Our 2 adult children had a separate studio next door and we shared a huge terrace with beautiful view. The pool area was lovely. The hosts were very helpful.
