There was a rooster, which was a bit loud in the morning.

People running the b&b were very nice and have feest goat cheese and figs. Was a very peacefull location.

No check in details; arrived at 21.30 and called host. Told they ‘were eating supper’ and we would have to wait an hour. Similar experiences with other guests who were also kept waiting. Unfriendly hosting. Had to ask for coffee sachets to be replenished in room more than once.. Breakfast might have included fresh fruit/ fresh cheese/ etc from this beautiful rural location but didnt. Lovely patisserie from shop but not included in breakfast.

Outside facilities very tired. Pool area lacking attention. Plastic seating and loungers tired. Bar and sitting area needs attention. Seating on balcony basic. Beach towels quoted, not supplied therefore had to go and buy. Breakfast same daily and served at road side Small fridge in room noisy through the night Air con inadequate.

Standard twin exceptionally clean. Ideal for a brief, comfort stop over for business or as book end to a longer visit to Algarve in view of proximity to Faro airport. Would think the room, small and perfectly functional, might seem too small for a longer stay.

Breakfast/ traditional continental served at adjoining patisserie. Tempting to loiter and add cake!

Room was cold, floor especially. There was a heater in the room but it hardly changed anything. If you stay at high season, probably not a problem, we stayed there in the beginning of April.

Fatima (the host) was friendly and left us a bag with some sandwiches, yogurts and fruits as we had told her that we had an early flight and would skip breakfast.

the room I was given at the front of the building was very small and dark, beating no relation to the photos. traffic going past in the morning was noisy. There’s no vegetarian option for breakfast.

if you like cakes there is a lovely cafe at the front of the property with good coffee and orange juice. it’s a good location for bike rides.

- Air con did not work, WiFi did not work in the room - only in the reception. Rooms were advertised as having both, but owner refused to discount the rate when neither worked. Rooms were hot and there were mosquitoes when the door was left open. - Breakfast was the same each day. Stale bread heated up and a boiled egg with some processed meats and cheese plus an un-flavoured yogurt. Got very boring by Day 3. - Location is not in the country but also not in town. More like "rural suburbia", but 3.5km from any place to eat or shop, so all trips have to be by car. - One good thing about the place was the peace and quiet, but the gardener arrived to mow the lawn at 7.30 pm one evening and this continued until 9 pm, using a flashlight! - Expensive for what it is. Had cheaper overlooking the sea on the Lisbon coast. - If you scan through the previous reviews, all of the above-mentioned issues are mentioned by other clients, but it seems to make no difference to the owner.

The room was a decent size and very clean. Nice big bathroom with a bath and shower. And a balcony (which we had to pay extra for) with a view of the "garden". The staff were friendly, but could speak no English apart from the owner.

Fatima was the most perfect host, we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Breakfast was delightful and was lovely to meet vita and Rex (the family dogs) not to mention the 2000 year old olive tree! And an exclusive trip to the hills. Thank you so much making our time away so special x

The experience here was pretty bad for different reasons and overall I would say the value for money is absolutely not worth. the place is not well curated with tall grass, dirty swimming pool and not so nice forniture. breakfast is commented by everyone as something great and done in the pastry shop of the owner…unfortunately although is done there you get 1 orange juice, 1 boiled egg, some bread butter, few slide of ham and cheese and an espresso…all packed in plastic and if you want their pastry you have to pay right away only in cash(starting from 1.60 per pastry). last but not least they list many services that they do not offer for example washing machine was offered to us only after they first proposed to go to the super market and wash there with coins and I said no…and they asked 10 euros for the service and ruined some clothes! I honestly doubted a lot on how comments are given by clients with this structure.

the structure has great potential although it is not in the best position someone could ask for it has nature around and it is like an old Quinta
