The place itself was beautiful, had everything you needed and the owners had stocked us up on necessities. The owners themselves where absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome and right at home. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone! 11/10, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at this apartment in Portugal and it was simply fantastic. The place was equipped with every comfort and we felt at home from the very first moment. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The view from the balcony was stunning, with trees stretching as far as the eye could see, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We had everything we needed; it was truly perfect. Without a doubt, this was the best stay we’ve had in Portugal. We highly recommend it!

We had a super relaxing week at QBV in this wonderful part of the country. We wanted to switch-off and reset, and we were able to do so in this beautiful place. The area is nice and tranquil, and it is so easy to access Óbidos, and Peniche, as well as the nearby beaches. The apartment is clean and is fully kitted with everything one could possibly need. The views from the flat are stunning and there are also lovely nature walks around the apartments. Sam and Rich are the best hosts, friendly, helpful, and super attentive. On arrival there is a very generous welcome pack, which was greatly appreciated as we arrived too late to make it to a restaurant or to the shops; and during our stay we were frequently surprised with treats left by the front door. All in all a great experience, highly recommend it. Thank you for your great hospitality Sam and Rich, what a perfect gem these beautiful flats are, we look forward to coming back!

Didn´t find anything however given this splendid hospitality we never got the idea to look for something which might be missing. :-)

We have never had such remarkable hosts like SAM and Rich. The love and dedication to the guests spoke from countless details of the holiday home. A full fridge, a table suitcase with biscuits, snacks and pasta, fruit bowl, wine and beer (all included). Every 3-4 days a bag of bread and baked goods hung on the door. Room was stylishly decorated. No household appliance was missing. Great facilities. The holiday home is in a very quiet rural location, off the beaten track. On the property you can walk and meditate in a forest-like environment. It is about 30 minutes to the sea. We are still overwhelmed by the hospitality we have enjoyed.

The internet connection was not always good. Not a big problem for us because we used our 4G at the times the internet was too slow.

We stayed as a family of 5 in Quinta do bom vento. We loved our stay. If we could give hospitality an 11 instead of a 10 we would. We felt very welcome from the very first foot we stepped on the property. The property felt like an it’s own little cosy village. The surroundings are amazing with woods in the back yard. Sam and Rich were very kind and you see that they do this with their whole heart. Before booking I was afraid the house would be too hot as it has no air conditioning. My concerns were not nescessary. Quite often we walked around with a cardigan in the house because it was so nice and cool inside. From the house we visited Nazaré, Obidos, baio do Sao Martinho do Porto, the Buddha Eden garden (recommended!) and the Berlengas islands (recommended). I definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect! We were coming off 10 days of traveling and Quinta do Bom was just what we needed. Super comfortable, well-stocked and incredible views. We could not have loved it more! Richard and Sam are also absolutely lovely and there if we needed anything at all. They happily showed us a possible running trail and delivered us hot bread in the morning. We would happily visit again.

This was the best place ever. Our accommodation was done out beautifully with all you could want (better equipped than my home) and very comfortable. Sam and Richard were amazing, attentive and generous and made sure you had the best stay. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. The area was great with lots to do and it was in a peaceful location - we loved sitting on our balcony in the evening sun or out in the courtyard. This place lives up to all the positive reviews. Do not hesitate to book.

Super location, about 5-7 minutes by car to Obidos. The view from our room was very nice. The hosts are fabulous people that makes your stay exceptional, small attentions that make all the difference. The rooms are well decorated. The fridge is full of little suprprises… just perfect. No puedo decir nada que no me gustase.

Actually, is difficult to say that something was special because all has been awesome. Sam and Rich are incredible. How no remembering that fantastic warm breakfast arriving early in the morning. The apartments has everything you can need during your vacation days. every single detail. I absolutely recommend this place, is like being in la little village. I do not repeat, normally, the place for vacations but, in this case, we are completely sure we will come back.

The greatest place we ever stayed We visited a lot of place already, small air bnb to 5 stars hotels and a Quinta do Bom Vento it’s definitely the best of all of them. The place is very clean, really warmly decorated (not just a plain white wall with a frame from primark) with full of smalls details that make, everywhere you look so cute But none of it could be this great without Sam and Rich! They are wonderful, nice really friendly without be annoying or intrusive. If you want to talk them are happy to speak with you but if you are in a rush they won’t disturb you. They are honestly kind (it was my mom birthday we didn’t said anything, they just saw it on the id. On the day, they just came in the morning before we go out, with delicious homemade cakes and a bottle of champagne!!!). They can give you really good advice of what to visit around (thanks again for Buddha’s garden it was spectacular) and if you need something they will do their best to help you and they give you an amazing welcome ! So you can choose this place without hesitation you will be in good hands. We definitely gonna go back so much we loved it! As I told them we have some expectations when we book a place and most of the time we are ok but they went much higher than those expectations and so we had a wonderful family trip Thanks again Sam and Rich ! I will join all the other posiitve reviews and say that we LOVED everything about our stay at Quinta do Bom. We had the 2 bedroom unit and everything about it was great. Sam and Rich provided everything you can imagine--incredible groceries, a fully stocked kitchen that we used to cook meals, books, games, beach equipment. The property is so lovely and the area is beautiful. Reminded me a bit of the wine growing areas of California where we are from. The old town of Obidos, a short drive from the property is magical.

It’s perfect.

We received a lovely welcome and the hosts were always about to assist. The casa is very well provisioned and the owners left us lots of food and goodies. It has a great terrace, full kitchen and good living space. Just exceptional!

A three night stay at this gem was not enough!

As soon as we arrived, we felt comfortable and welcomed. Sam and Richard are so friendly, kind, thoughtful and generous. We were amazed by the amount of food and drinks they provided for us - enough for all of our breakfasts, and lunches, as well as the first dinner of our stay. Sam’s delivery of a package of warm bread and pastries one morning made us feel so spoiled. We stayed in the Pacific unit with its beautiful old world charm and loved our outdoor spaces. The peace and quiet, as well as the scenery of Quinta do Bom Vento make it an easy place to settle into. The landscaping on the property is very pretty with lots of gorgeous succulents, flowering shrubs, fruit trees and my new favourite tree, the stone pine. The surrounding area was also great to explore with beautiful drives through surrounding vineyards and orchards. We especially enjoyed our daytrip to Tomar and our beach walk near the town of Foz do Arelho. We stayed in four different places during our stay in Portugal, all wonderful in their own way. My husband and I both agreed that Quinta do Bom Vento was our favourite of the four.

We liked everything!

SAM and Rich are the ultimate hosts! This is more of a Bed-and-Breakfast than a hotel or AirBNB. Starting with a fully stocked kitchen including fruits and vegetables, wine and cheese, and more, exceptional local recommendations, beautiful views, and relationships with other guests, Quinto do Bom Vento far exceeds expectations. It's truly a home away from home.
