Great location! In the middle of the city, easy to reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach by foot. Perfect get away with little private garden area and hammock in front of the unity. Community area with pool, children’s playground area, bbq and washing machine and last but not least - amazing views!! Nice and very helpful host

Great location. Beautiful terrace to watch the sunsets. Parking wasn't an issue, grocery store within walking distance. Eduardo Pinheiro was easily accessible for any questions we had,as well gave many recommendations for activities on the island.

The place was extremely peaceful and quiet, located really close to the centre. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly and he gave us some recommendations about the restaurants and nearby places to visit.

The bed has a really soft matrass and is not very big. We prefer a king size bed, but most people will find it okay I suppose. There is some mold in the apartment, but it's almost impossible not to have it in this kind of climate. So don't let this be a reason not to book here, because it's a great place.

Really nice apartment in the center of town. It's situated in a beautiful garden and there is a really nice area upstairs with a swimmingpool and great views of the city. A big supermarket is very near and the kitchen has everything you need, oven, microwave etc. The host is very friendly and respons very fast on the app if you need something. I would definitely recommend this place.

There was nothing about this venue that I did not like. The villa was perfect, the grounds for magnificent and secluded and going up top to the pool and lounge area is a definite must. I will be back how are you before too long.

Unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell from the drain at some point. Assuming this was a temporary thing.

What a gem! We really enjoyed our stay in Quinta das Rosas. The location is perfect, the apartment has everything you need and Eduardo is a great host who gave us a lot of helpful tips and restaurant recommendations. Baby bed and high chair was provided and much appreciated. We really liked having a cup of coffee on roof top terrace in the morning. I would consider coming back and renting all three villas for the extended family.

We had a very good time. Eduardo and the staff is very friendly. He gives very good tips for things to do. The property and the apartment are furnished with love and leave nothing to be desired. The view from the upper terrace gives a perfect overview of the island's weather conditions. That way you can decide which direction to take today. If we are back on the island this will definitely be our place to stay.

The location of the property is amazing! From the pictures, we thought we might be further out of town, so when the gps took us right to the center we were confused. It wasn’t until we went through the gate into the beautiful orchard that we appreciated both the convenience and natural beauty of the location. The villa was private, clean and well appointed. Each villa has its own space with flowers and trees that makes for a relaxing view. We enjoyed sitting in the common space overlooking the property with beautiful views of the mountains and town. The location in town is very convenient to explore the town, the beach, shops and restaurants. Eduardo was a wonderful host and gave great recommendations for hikes, food, etc! He was responsive to messages and made us feel welcome. Overall a great stay and I’d love to return sometime!

Absolutely perfect! The appartement is located almost in the town centre; furnished simply, but with nice style. It is located in the beautifull garden with the tropic plants, pool and terrase with breathtaking view over the roofs of the town and even over the ocean. Nicest accomodation I´ve ever been!

Exceptional and unexpected location in the middle of Ribeira Grande. Very nice entrance with flowers, portuguese stonepath, a little paradise. Three little houses but private enough, you don't see the neighbours. Eduardo was very helpful and gave some very good tips, very nice to talk to.

Somehow the GPS set from booking showed a different location, so check the address and follow it. Lack of coffee capsules for the first day. Fixing the terrace while we were in-house. But it was all minor. The place is great

It was splendid. Hidden gem in the city we thought we knew. A garden with three separate villas, fully equipped to spend a good week there, a pool on the upper deck, and.a BBQ gazebo with a spectacular view on a sunny day. Quiet, comfortable, with a proper coffee machine and charming cups, a blender, fridge, oven even - a nice kitchenette. A Lovely host who would always look after us if needed. A hammock in the garden and a terrace with garden furniture to sip coffee and read outdoors. Super clean bathroom and thermal pool towels. A washing machine available in the BBQ area which for us, parents was a dream come true. A pool, a lawn with a swing, deckchairs, wine covered terrace and a gazebo. Are already checking next available dates to return. Plus a beach and a Continente just around the corner. And those beautifully smelling flowers in the garden upon arrival.

Parking was for 2 cars comfortably but 3 at a push. With 3 cars the last car blocked the others in. We like to get up early and back early but one guest went out late and got back late meaning they blocked our car in so we had to wait for them to get up to go out a few times which was a shame. We also had to wait up for them to come back on the last day so we could ask to move cars as we had to go to the airport very early in the morning. This is a little niggle but I would rather parking be allocated so this didn't happen as affected our plans for a few days.

The host was so kind and helpful. We had our 1 year old with us and they provided a cot, high chair and baby bath for us. It was a great place to stay, very quiet although central to Ribeira Grande. There was a big supermarket a few minutes walk away so we did a lot of cooking in and the shared pool/garden was lovely, even with a washing machine for guest use. With the gates shut we felt very secure and it was lovely and private. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

It was absolutely marvelous place with very friendly owner. It is located in a very normal street, but when you enter the gate, you come to different world...The well equipped and comfortable cottages are situated in nice garden with citrus trees, palms, camellias and azaleas fences. There is a very nice rest area with small swimming pool situated in the top of the garden, where you can take a rest after the trips and enjoy a glass of wine as well as beautiful view over the city, and sea with sunset (if you are lucky ;-))
