The location was out of town but not inaccessible. Taxis were cheap and if you wanted to walk there was a few restaurants and bars close by

We loved our time at Quinta das Amendoeiras. The grounds are beautiful and so safe for children. Maria, our host, was charming, very kind and welcoming. Check-in was easy despite our late arrival and the apartment was set up beautifully with a cot bed for our baby. Swimming pool is lovely, it is covered every evening but you can open it yourself for early morning swims. It's about 20 mins walk to two very nice restaurants Farm Village and A Cochiera. The property has air-conditioning but we didn't need it despite temperatures of 31 degrees outside. The thick stone walls of the traditional house kept the rooms lovely and cool. XD

We went as a family. The cleanliness of the house, the pool and the landscaping were excellent. We had a nice holiday in silence. Lady Maria was very interested. Every day he asked us if we needed anything. Thanks

The only thing comment we have is the placement of the AC just above our heads in the bedroom wasn't the best.

We loved our stay here! We had everything we needed, everything was clean and well maintained. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved that we could use the pool at any time. Maria was welcoming and helpful. Very charming place!

This was a return trip for us. Everything as before - Exceptional - 10/10. Maria & Carlos go far and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. - nothing is too much trouble. Facilities are exceptional and even from our visit last year they have added additional touches to ensure everyone enjoys their stay even more. Definitely will be returning again next year

The accommodation was very clean and had everything that you might want in self catering. Maria the owner was lovely and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. Nice pool which is heated and very private. It is a little outside of town but we had a car and uber to take us out of an evening. Would highly recommend.

They are actually several apartments and we had a shared terrace. The appartment self is a bit dark. Difficult to walk around as there are also cars on the road and there is nowhere to go, definitely need a car.

It’s far from big complexes, swimming pool, good contact with the owner, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, also coffee, thee etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this place, it was very clean and it had everything I needed! The hosts were super friendly and provided help right away when I had any questions :) The location was very peaceful and ideal to enjoy the morning sun :) Adding this to my favourites! Thank you so much.

Nothing I can think of.... Maybe a document with recommendations for supermarkets, restaurant, beaches, ... - though this was actually easily obtained in a direct talk.

Quiet environment, away from tourists, small-scale, yet very close to city and beaches (by car). Flavour of old quinta is preserved, though completely modernized. Welcoming owners - a pleasure to meet them and be with them and their other guests.

There wasn't a single thing NOT to like :) We absolutely loved this place. The room was clean homely and well equipped for a comfortable living. The pool is lovely, warm and super clean. Maria and her husband we're amazing hosts, replying to questions within 10 minutes and always willing to help with a smiley face. The location was fab, a very cheap Uber ride to both Old Town and The Strip. We stayed as a couple however, I could imagine this place being amazing for families, especially with a HUGE Lidl a stones throw away. I would highly recommend this accommodation and can't wait to return. Thank you Maria!

I didn't like the cleanliness of the pool which had numerous dead bugs both floating and under the water. The bottom of the pool also looked dirty. I was really excited with the fact that you could use the shared pool however didn't get to enjoy it for this reason. I had an issue with comfort as the sofa wasn't comfortable enough to be used and there was only one as it is a small house. I was unable to get a good night sleep due to an issue/fault with the bed which was extremely noisy and impossible to sleep comfortably in it due to the incredible noise. However despite these issues everything else was really positive and I have to say I didn't communicate these issues during my stay regardless of the owner texting to find out if everything was ok. In the end we talked about it and both her and her husband were incredibly nice and said that it was a shame they didn't know we weren't comfortable as they would even have placed us in a spare house they had to fix the issue and they said if the bed can't be fixed they'll promptly buy a new one. They were open to all suggestions and seemed genuinely concerned. This review would not stop me from visiting another time in the future. And definitely communicate any problems as they are really helpful and will find a solution to accommodate you. Overall, it was a positive experience regarding a few issues and the place has great potential for a nice stay.

I liked the quaint nature of the place, the ammenities and the fact that the place only had a few houses with a shared pool which provided you with enough privacy.

The bed was a bit too hard for our liking and the apartment had a weird smell, most likely due to humidity, but it's not so bad with some room ventilation. The bed seems to be quite noisy if you are turning at night.

Nice and lovely yard for having breakfast and for enjoying dinner in the evening. Lots of space in apartments and a lovely kitchen with everything provided to make your own meal. Good place away from the city and easy to get to where you want using a rented car or UBER.

the location wasn’t really good the nearest restaurant was 15 min walk and the Uber driver hardly to find the apartment . also the bathroom wasn’t clean enough especially the WC
