The aesthetics and the design concept are beautiful. The staff especially Phillipe around the pool area were exceptional.

Slightly chaotic but charming restaurant staff, some fantastic like the manager & more experienced staff, but some with little experience, understanding & struggled with language but always lovely and smiley.

All very relaxing. Food good, not great & pricy. Best light sunny rooms are looking towards the pool. Especially enjoyed exploring on electric bikes. Lovely indoor/ outdoor pool and spa. Good restaurant nearby called Sal on the coast. You need a car, v little taxi availability. Highly recommmend restaurant in Comporta called Mesa, superb.

We stayed for dinner once and it did not go well. Too many mistakes (fish not cooked enough, starters arriving after main dish, port wine served in broken glass, etc). Dinner was really the only negative aspect.

Beautiful hotel very well integrated with nature. Very big sized and extremely comfortable room. Some drinks and chocolates included in the price. Many available activities. Great electric bikes. Close to the beach and rice fields. Great breakfast.

Building work going on during our stay which made us unable to use our room during 1 day. We were not told about this in advance. Generally the room was tired. Peeling paint, broken tiles, crumbling plaster. The coffee was terrible for a resort of this type. Very weak and not what I would expect.

could not fault the property. the only thing is it’s a fair distance to the beach or Comporta, and there isn’t much to do in the town in “off season”. we enjoyed hiring the e-bikes, but with a small child it is difficult - would recommend families with small children to rent a car, or at least bring the relevant car seat to avoid costly taxi transfers.

absolutely everything was beautifully designed and well thought out. we loved the sustainable ethos, whilst still being super stylish. the staff were amazing - travelling with a toddler isn’t easy and they were so friendly and thoughtful with little touches to make us more comfortable. the food in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast was a delight every morning.

I honestly couldn’t say anything more than I already have. This property is AMAZING and I’ve never met such sweet and accommodating staff. Truly, the hospitality in Portugal is unlike any other country. The food options on site have a wide variety and reasonably priced. Loved that breakfast is included. Spa was a great touch and took advantage of that. Spa was reasonably priced too for a 50 min massage (I got the relaxation massage; highly recommend). I took Pilates at 9am and it was a great touch. I’ve never done it before and the instructor was very descriptive and gave various options of difficulty in case someone couldn’t complete an exercise. She was great also recommend.

The restaurant was very disappointing. The quality was below expectations and below average in the area on a similar benchmark Chef needs to change.

The bathroom could have been better appointed and a bit more functional. Not as close to the beach as I would have liked, but the rice field was beautiful. Guessing mosquitoes would be tough during the water phase of growing.

Rooms seem a bit worn down and the isolation is awful. We could hear everything people next to us were talking about as if they were in our room.

We loved the hotel surroundings - the rice fields, the birds, the ocean nearby. The hotel restaurant was also very good as well as the staff members, everyone was kind and helpful.

The pool is way too cold when it’s windy and not above 30 degrees. They are not able to heat it up so kids can’t stand longer then a few minutes in the pool.

The whole set up of the hotel, Breakfast and the location are great.
