There were children playing very loudly in the outside pool without any parents nearby (they only appeared after hours from one of the nearby studios) which can be disturbing as you try to relax.

It is a perfect place to spend relaxing days at, the spa, and the swimming pools (especially the outside one) is very nice and clean. Breakfast with great options. Staff is always happy to help.

All of these things below were not really issues for us, just things that could be improved or maybe interesting for others. Breakfast was often crowded (too little space to persent all the different stuff), and service at dinner was very slow, unkind, and dinner was overall very mediocre (we only had dinner there once, might have been unlucky). Water in the pools (both indoor and outdoor) were a little too cold but still ok. Location is a little too far from Lisbon, even though on the map it appears to be close. The only real option to get to downtown is by car/taxi (take an Uber, it's about half the price of a taxi!) There is public transportation, but very slow and inconvenient. An Uber will take you to Lisbon for 25-45 eur (closer and farther parts). It is also a little too far from the center of Alcochete, so it's not easy to buy groceries nearby if you don't have a car. You are supposed to wear swimming caps in the indoor pool, and also need to book time, but staff does not take this seriously at all. Some families used the indoor pool randomly and without caps, which is fine and didn't really bother us, but why make it a rule then and sell caps for 5 eur each?

The hotel was very nice and very clean. Breakfast had lots of options, it is definitely worth it. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially front desk, and they spoke very good English (which is not at all typical in Portugal in general). Our room was fairly big, and very quiet. It also had enough power sockets, which is a rarity. Air conditioning in the room was superb, probably the most quiet I've ever seen so far (so quite that at first I wasn't even sure it's working). The outdoor pool was quite large and we liked that it gradually deepened from one side to about halfway, and then stayed the same depth on the other side. The beach in front of the hotel (Tagus river, not the sea) provided very nice views, but it is not really suitable for swimming there.

quality of furnishings. in both suites, the kitchen cupboards were all sagging and not in alignment. they all clearly need some maintenance. The indoor pool was nice also but it would be nice to have some larger robes and slippers that actually fit. (6ft2, 200lbs) nothing here is made for larger people.

we had booked two rooms. one was a 3 bedrom suite and was very nice. the second was a one bedroom apt and although it was clean, it was quite run down. the furniture was broken or in very poor condition, the patio furniture could not even be used unless you wanted to ruin your clothes. I understand they are owner maintained properties but there should be a minimum standard to be upheld and this property ( one bedroom) was below standard.

The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The room and common spaces were super comfortable. We spent only 1 night here and left wishing we had more time to enjoy the hotel.

Waitress at dinining room did not speak very well english and couple of times missuderstood the order. After 10am some items for breakfast were not available anymore, like eggs. Although someone was still in the kitchen, they told us eggs were not available. Very strange. It happened 2 days in a row.

Hotel was well kept and clean, with ample space. Staff was corteous.

It is a bit remote, but for those looking for a tranquil look back at Lisbon, it's great! It's also a long walk to the rooms from the reception.

The property is modern and stylish and right on the river beach. The flats are comfortable, clean and efficently equipped for a short or week long stay.

We all loved it!

All the staff were extremely pleasant and ready to provide information. Our apartment within the hotel complex was clean, spacious and well-equipped. We loved the indoor pool, sauna etc, especially as it wasn’t that warm during our stay. It was handy to have a restaurant on site and there are several supermarkets a close drive away where we were about to stock up on additional supplies. Congratulations to the staff: you’re doing an excellent job!
