The breakfast was very good with a variety of fruits, breads, cheese, and pastry. Th view is absolutely amazing, one can see Palmela and Setúbal. The castle located just by the hotel is nice and free for visiting.

A really nice historical Pausada. It was worth it, paying for the view. A parking spots right in front of the hotel. Smaller and very quiet hotel, which results also in a nice and relaxed breakfast.

Being such a nice monument, maybe they should invest more in the requalification of the antique floord, walls and bathrooms. They are a bit dated and could be much more beautiful!

This is a very expensive hotel for Portugal taking into account that it has no swimming pool. The ironing room was dirty, unacceptable for such a hotel category. It is also quite difficult to arrive with the car.

The Pousada is in an excellent location, very nice views to Setubal and to the castle. The breakfast was outstanding, a lot of choice and good quality. The rooms are very large and have good air-conditioning. The reception was extremely helpful and friendly.

20 miles away, we looked at the building on the hill and thought "what a nice place that would be to stay"....and it turned out to be this property. Location, view, ample parking were all bonuses. Breakfast was excellent. Being able to walk through the adjacent castle was a plus.

Difficult to take luggage into the property. Needs a luggage ramp. Also the restaurant was not very good.

What a beautiful place to spend a night or two! Our friends each got their own rooms and were soo pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and clean the rooms were. The staff went above and beyond to help and assist us with reservations and recommendations. The castle itself was amazing! Well preserved with great information. The view is spectacular! I highly recommend🩷

The location and setting - with wonderful views - were fantsatic. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the entire facililty was beautiful. We also thought the breakfast was spectacular. I will say there was a particular odor in one room, and a musty smell in another room. But they were very clean. Perhaps that is becuase it's a very old building. It was so much fun staying in a pousada. We loved it!

Hotel is high so if you walk down it's a long way back up. All paths and roads are cobbles and are slippery when wet. Parking is shared with the castle which is open to rhe public so parking can be tight. Ignore the old man who tries to charge for parking as he's a local who has been at this for years, parking is free.

Good location set within a castle on top of a hill overlooking the town. Good rooms which are large and same old style as all pousada's, good breakfast and bar but can't coment on the evening meal as we didn't eat there of a night.

Hotel parking can be busy as it fills up for the castle visitors, ignore the old man trying to charge you for parking as he's trying it on. Hotel is on top of a steep hill so if your walking down to the town please bear in mind the walk back up. Cobbles can slippery when wet as all roads and paths are made of cobbles

Hotel is stunning sitting on the top of a hill overlooking the town, in the castle grounds. Breakfast good as in any pousada. Didn't eat dinner so can't coment. Staff where all good and recommended to any body wanting to stay.

Incredible views from this historic location. Despite the age of the castle grounds, the Pousada is up-t0-date and modern. Room was large and comfortable. And parking, thank goodness, was easy and open.

Great location, amazing view and very beautiful garden around with nice pool. The owners was so kind and helpful. Totally recommend have a glass of Porto vine that they produce.
