Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomNo complaints at all, had a perfect and very relaxing stay. Just be aware that you are in Belem, so the centre of Lisbon is a little way away on public transport if you want to be closer to where the nightlife is. I wanted to stay in Belem so for me the location was perfect.
Beautiful hotel. The facilities were amazing, beautiful room and fantastic bed and the Spa was lovely. Staff super friendly and very helpful. Both breakfast and the dinner I had in the restaurant were wonderful. Very well located for all the sights in Belem.

The staff was great and very helpful in every single moment of our staying. Breakfast was good, but not life changing. We had a nice complementary surprise from the Hotel. The decoration on the ground floor is beautiful.

United StatesThe restaurant (staff and food) was disappointing. Service was slow, and the host was pushy and arrogant, upset that we chose the wine rather than waiting for his pairing of food and wine. The food (I had the duck) was disappointing in portion and taste when considering the price. There was apparently some construction going on, so getting from our room to the gym and indoor pool required going down to the lobby, walking down the hall, and taking another elevator downstairs. Question it's 5-star rating, more accurately a 4-star hotel.
The reception staff was wonderful, especially Inez, who went out of her way to answer our questions and make us feel as welcomed and appreciated guests. While the outdoor pool was cold, we enjoyed swimming in it, and relished the indoor (warm water) pool. The location of the Hotel is excellent - close to Belem Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery, and a quick hop to the Funicular, giving access to the older section of Lisbon. The room was comfortable, but with very limited seating.

AustraliaMain gripe I was woken in the night by sound of dripping water.The roof hatch had water dripping out of it I was too tired to do anything except put towels there.We had just finished a month cycling and had flights back to Australia ahead of us.So sorry when you've lost sleep is not quite enough.

Hotel offers EXCELLENT service. Great/ generous breakfast. The staff pays attention to each detail to ensure your stay is exceptional. My room had a partial view of the Belem Tower. The bathroom was spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. High quality bathroom products. Highly recommend this hotel if you want a lovely experience at an affordable price. Hotel is 10-15 mins to the center of Lisbon.

We came to Lisbon to relax for the weekend and we had a great stay ! The staff was kind and helpful, the bedroom was comfy and we just loved the design of the hotel and it's history overall. The amenities are great, we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the sauna. The breakfast has plenty of options and was delicious. We will definitely come again !
