Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaThe music during breakfast was way too loud. Otherwise, nothing to be concerned by.
A very pleasant option in a quieter area of Lisbon, but close to the Gulbenkian Foundation, and between two metro stations. My double room was smaller than expected, but was compensated for by being very comfortable, and very nicely designed. It was also very quiet, which was a bonus. The bed was perfect, the linens and towels excellent. I liked the bathroom, too, very pleasantly designed. There was a Nespresso machine, which I learned to like, and bottles of water in the little glass fronted fridge. Downstairs, there was a good breakfast buffet in the dining area.

Great location; very close to a park, a mall and city centre. Very decent breakfast. I had a junior suite which is a very big room on the top floor with a wonderful big terrace with a city view.

Germanybased on the facilities not worthy of a 4 star Hotel. Not one business/quite room available to conduct some urgent work related things. Rooms don’t get much light and are very dark.
It was easy to get around from there by metro. Clean and safe neighborhood. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. First 2 Coffees and Waters are complementary.

United StatesThe only compliant I have is that I didn’t have control of the air conditioning in my room. It was on the lowest setting and never felt cold and the room was so hot at times.
The property is located in a great spot in town. Close enough to the center of the city or take an uber. We were upgraded for free which was very nice of the hotel! Very clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

AustraliaThe area isn’t super lively but a supermarket is close by. Free parking Fri-Sun on the street if you hire a car. Bolt is super cheap so it’s 4-5€ to get to the going out area or to the airport 15min away. I’d rather stay here comfortable than in a super expensive hotel in the centre where it’s loud and hectic.
Room is super nice. Amazing bed and a selection of pillows. Check in happened to be at 3pm and not earlier which was not the best but i was kinky allowed a late check out due to a late flight.

The hotel was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, yet not too far from the city center. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The TV in the room had some great tips and tricks for exploring Lisbon, and the bed was very big and comfortable.
